The Federal University of Transportation, Daura (FUTD) is a federal university established in 2023 by the Federal Government of Nigeria. It is the first university in Nigeria—and one of the few in Africa—dedicated entirely to transportation studies and related technologies.

The university was established to address the shortage of skilled professionals in Nigeria’s transport sector, particularly in rail, maritime, aviation, and logistics.
