UNILAG Foundation Studies Supplementary Admission 2026/2027

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced a supplementary admission opportunity into its School of Foundation Studies (SFS) for the 2026/2027 academic session. The supplementary exercise is intended to give prospective candidates who missed the earlier application window another opportunity to apply.

The supplementary application will open on Monday, 5 October 2026, and close on Friday, 23 October 2026. Interested candidates are advised to complete their applications before the deadline to avoid missing the opportunity.

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has opened online registration for candidates seeking Direct Entry admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. Registration will run from 9 September to 6 October 2026. Candidates are required to complete the online registration, pay the ₦3,500 application fee and submit the required academic results before the deadline.

To be eligible, candidates must have chosen UNILAG as their first choice in the 2026/2027 Direct Entry JAMB application, possess five relevant O’Level credits at one sitting, including English Language and Mathematics, and be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026. Accepted qualifications include First Degree, HND, OND, JUPEB, Cambridge A’ Level, NCE and other approved qualifications listed by the university.

Candidates should complete the application through the UNILAG application portal. The process involves generating a payment advice, paying the application fee online or at a commercial bank, completing the application form, uploading the relevant results, checking the information provided, submitting the form and printing the Direct Entry Application Slip. UNILAG Supplementary Admission Form is Out 2026/2027

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced a supplementary admission opportunity for UTME candidates who participated in the 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise but could not meet the cut-off marks for their preferred courses. The supplementary exercise is available for candidates interested in programmes with limited available spaces.

Eligible candidates can apply to change to any of the available programmes through the UNILAG change of programme portal at https://changeprgm.unilag.edu.ng/. Available courses include selected programmes in the Faculties of Arts, Education, Life Sciences, Physical and Earth Sciences, and Social Sciences. Candidates are advised to confirm that they meet the required JAMB and O’Level conditions before applying.

The application process requires candidates to log in using their UTME registration number, review their eligibility, select an available programme, complete the change of course application, and submit their details. The minimum Post-UTME score required for eligibility is 12, while candidates are reminded that submitting an application does not guarantee admission, as selection will depend on approved admission criteria and available spaces.

The supplementary application is open until Friday, September 25, 2026. UNILAG 2026/2027 Direct Entry Registration form for Undergraduate Admission on sale

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has scheduled online registration for Direct Entry admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. The registration exercise will run from Wednesday, 9 September to Tuesday, 22 September 2026, and eligible candidates are expected to complete their applications within the stated period to be considered for admission. Applicants must have selected UNILAG as their first-choice institution in the 2026/2027 Direct Entry JAMB application and must meet the university’s stated academic and age requirements.

Eligible candidates can begin the process through the UNILAG application portal. Applicants are required to start a new application, select Undergraduate as the application type, log in with their DE JAMB registration number and surname, generate a payment advice and pay the ₦3,500 application fee either online or at a commercial bank. They must then return to the portal to complete the application form, upload the relevant academic results, review the information provided and submit the application before printing the Direct Entry Application Slip for future reference.

Candidates are expected to have five relevant O’Level credit passes at one sitting, including English Language and Mathematics, and must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2026. UNILAG Human Kinetics Diploma Admission 2026/2027 is Out

The University of Lagos (UNILAG), through its Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC) in collaboration with the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education, has opened applications for the two-year part-time Diploma in Human Kinetics and Health Education for the 2026/2027 academic session. The programme is designed for active sportsmen and women and successful candidates will receive a Diploma in Human Kinetics and Health Education.

Applicants must have five O’Level credits in WASSCE, NECO or GCE at one sitting, including Mathematics, English Language, Biology and another Science subject. Candidates must also possess a Coaching Grade III Certificate or Diploma from the National Institute of Sports. The fees are ₦100,000 tuition per session, ₦10,000 for course materials, and a ₦20,000 application fee.

The qualifying examination and interview will hold on Tuesday, 17 November 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the UNILAG Sports Centre. Lectures are scheduled to begin on Monday, 30 November 2026. Candidates should complete the application through the UNILAG HRDC portal, beginning with the pre-application form and payment of the ₦20,000 application fee.

After payment is confirmed, applicants can return to the portal to complete and print their application forms. The printed documents, together with the required copies of birth certificate, payment teller and academic credentials, should be submitted to the HRDC and Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education on or before Monday, 22 February 2027. UNILAG Direct Entry Application Deadline Extended 

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has further extended the deadline for the submission of Direct Entry (DE) applications for the 2026/2027 academic session.

According to a notice issued by the university, prospective Direct Entry candidates now have until Tuesday, 6th October 2026 to complete and submit their applications through the UNILAG application portal. The extension is intended to give candidates who are yet to complete the process additional time to do so.

UNILAG advised interested Direct Entry candidates who have not completed their applications to take advantage of the extension and ensure that their applications are duly completed and submitted on or before the new deadline.

Candidates are therefore advised to complete the application process before 6th October 2026 to avoid missing the extended deadline.

UNILAG ICE Admission Form 2026/2027 Deadline Extended

The University of Lagos (UNILAG), through its Institute of Continuing Education (ICE), has extended the deadline for the sale of application forms for admission into its programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. The extension provides prospective applicants who are yet to complete their applications with additional time to apply.

The new deadline for the sale of application forms is Friday, 13 November 2026. Interested candidates are advised to complete their applications before the revised closing date.

UNILAG SUG Clarifies Hostel Accommodation Payment Status

The University of Lagos Students’ Union (ULSU) has clarified that payment for hostel accommodation has not started. The union advised students to disregard messages or information claiming that hostel registration or payment has officially commenced.

According to the notice, the hostel payment portal is expected to open in about two weeks and will remain available until the resumption period. Students have also been assured that payment will not be limited to a seven-day period, meaning there is no need to rush to make payment based on unverified claims.

ULSU urged students to remain calm and rely on information released through its official communication channels. Students are particularly advised not to transfer money or make hostel payments through unofficial links or platforms before the university officially announces the commencement of the process.

The clarification was signed by Peter Samuel Opemiposi, Public Relations Officer of the University of Lagos Students’ Union. Further information on hostel registration and payment will be communicated once the official process begins.
