Notice Board

Federal Polytechnic Bida Suspends Sign-Out Activities Until Further Notice

The Federal Polytechnic Bida has suspended and prohibited all sign-out activities within the Polytechnic premises following a security alert from the Directorate of Security and Related Matters (DSRM). The directive takes effect after the completion of the ongoing 2025/2026 Second Semester Examinations and will remain in force until further notice.

According to Management, the security report indicated that sign-out gatherings could create opportunities for rival groups to converge, with potential risks including retaliatory attacks, cult-related clashes, unauthorised entry of outsiders, dangerous weapons, panic, property damage and disruption of academic activities. The measure is intended to protect lives and property and ensure the peaceful completion of the examinations.

Management warned that any department, class or student group that violates the directive may have the final examination paper of the affected class or group cancelled, subject to the decision of the appropriate academic authority. The affected students may also be prevented from retaking the examination until Management or the Academic Board determines when it can be conducted.

Heads of Departments have been directed to communicate the suspension to students and ensure compliance. The circular has also been submitted to the Academic Board for consideration and ratification. Management stressed that the directive is a preventive, security-driven measure and urged all students and staff to treat it as urgent and comply strictly.

Admission Requirements

Admission into Dennis Osadebay University for regular undergraduate programmes is through UTME or Direct Entry. The university’s current undergraduate programme page states that candidates must possess five O’Level credits or their equivalent as required by their department. It also currently states a minimum UTME score of 150 and an admission age requirement of 16 years by 30 September of the admission year.

For UTME admission, candidates should have the required O’Level subjects for their chosen course. The university’s admission information states that the required five credits should include English Language and Mathematics where applicable, with the remaining subjects determined by the department.

The university’s published admission requirements also provide routes for Direct Entry candidates. Previous official admission information states that candidates with a relevant ND or HND at minimum Lower Credit, together with the required JAMB Direct Entry registration, may be considered for admission.

Candidates with IJMB/JUPEB qualifications may also be considered under the university’s stated requirements. The published requirements indicate a minimum of two relevant subjects with at least four points obtained across the subjects, while NCE candidates are required to have a Merit grade from a recognised institution.

Because professional programmes such as Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Optometry and other health-related courses can have additional subject requirements, applicants should always check the requirements for their particular course before applying.

Cut-Off Mark

The current DOU undergraduate programme page states a minimum UTME score of 150 for admission into its full-time undergraduate programmes.

However, candidates should distinguish this current general minimum from older admission-session requirements. For example, the university’s official 2025/2026 admission advert required candidates who chose DOU as first choice and scored 160 and above in the 2025/2026 UTME. Candidates who had not selected DOU as first choice were asked to process a change of institution.

Therefore, the 150 score currently displayed on the university’s undergraduate programme page should be treated as the university’s stated general minimum, while candidates should check the current admission notice for any programme-specific or session-specific requirement.

Meeting the minimum UTME score does not automatically guarantee admission. Candidates must also satisfy the O’Level, subject combination and other requirements of their chosen programme.

Post-UTME / Screening Information

Dennis Osadebay University conducts Post-UTME screening for prospective undergraduate students. The university currently has a dedicated Post-UTME Screening 2026/2027 Session page on its portal, where candidates are asked to provide their JAMB registration number.

The general undergraduate application process involves creating an account on the DOU portal, completing the application form, uploading the required documents and paying the applicable application fee.

Candidates should ensure that their JAMB details correspond with the information supplied to the university. Those who initially selected another institution may need to complete a change of institution through JAMB where required by DOU’s admission instructions.

Applicants should also be careful when dealing w

Students should obtain their official payment information through the DOU student/application portal rather than relying on fee figures circulated on unofficial websites or social media.

The university’s portal currently provides separate application options for Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma programmes, with an application fee of ₦15,000 shown for each of those programmes. This is an application fee for those programmes and should not be confused with undergraduate tuition or school fees.

College of Education and Legal Studies Nguru - COELS
College of Education and Legal Studies Nguru – COELS

College of Education and Legal Studies (COELS), Nguru is a state-owned higher education institution located in Nguru, Yobe State, Nigeria. The institution was established in 2000 and was formerly known as Atiku Abubakar College of Legal and Islamic Studies, Nguru. It has traditionally combined teacher education, legal studies, Islamic studies, arts, social sciences, sciences and management-related programmes.

The college is recognised by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) as a state college of education in Yobe State. The current NCCE accredited-colleges directory lists the institution as College of Education and Legal Studies, Nguru, with its official website identified as coelsnguru.edu.ng.

COELS offers Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes alongside diploma and other continuing-education programmes. In 2026, the institution also received approval from the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to commence National Diploma programmes in Law, Common and Islamic Law, and Crime Management, marking an important expansion of its academic offerings.

History of College of Education and Legal Studies, Nguru

College of Education and Legal Studies, Nguru was established in 2000 and was originally known as Atiku Abubakar College of Legal and Islamic Studies, Nguru. The institution’s legal foundation is associated with Yobe State Edict No. 6 of 1999, which was subsequently amended in 2016 and 2020. Its mandate includes providing education, training and research leading to qualifications such as the Nigeria Certificate in Education and Diploma awards.

The college developed from its original emphasis on legal and Islamic studies into a broader institution offering programmes in education, sciences, arts, social sciences and management studies. Its NCE programmes include subject combinations in areas such as English, Arabic, Hausa, Islamic Studies, Social Studies, Economics, Mathematics and Integrated Science.

The institution has also continued to develop its facilities and academic capacity. In 2026, projects reported at the college included a new administrative building, a new School of Law complex, renovated laboratories and library improvements, as well as facilities for Qur’anic Studies and Almajiri Education Advancement.

A further development came in July 2026 when NBTE approved COELS to award National Diplomas. The approval covered ND Law, ND Common and Islamic Law, and ND Crime Management, while the college stopped admissions into certain former Ordinary Diploma programmes affected by the transition.

Location of College of Education and Legal Studies

College of Education and Legal Studies is located along Gashua Road, Nguru, Yobe State, Nigeria.

The institution’s postal address is:

P.M.B. 021, Nguru, Yobe State, Nigeria.

Nguru is one of the major towns in Yobe State and serves as an important educational and commercial centre in the area. The college’s location on Gashua Road makes it accessible to students from Nguru and neighbouring communities in Yobe State and other parts of the North-East.

List of Programmes Offered by College of Education and Legal Studies, Nguru

COELS has traditionally offered NCE and Diploma programmes across several academic areas. With the 2026 NBTE approval, the institution has also expanded into National Diploma-level legal and crime-management programmes.

NCE Programmes

The college’s NCE offerings include subject combinations such as:

  • Arabic/Hausa
  • Arabic/Islamic Studies
  • English/Arabic
  • English/Economics
  • English/Islamic Studies
  • English/Social Studies
  • English/Hausa
  • Hausa/Arabic
  • Hausa/Islamic Studies
  • Integrated Science/Computer Education
  • Integrated Science
  • Integrated Science/Mathematics
  • Mathematics/Computer Education
  • Social Studies/Arabic
  • Social Studies/Economics
  • Social Studies/Hausa
  • Social Studies/Islamic Studies
  • Social Studies (Double Major)

These combinations provide routes into teacher education for students interested in language, social science, science and Islamic studies subjects.

Other Academic and Diploma Areas

Earlier programme listings for the institution have included:

  • Islamic Studies
  • Hausa
  • English
  • Economics
  • Mathematics
  • Integrated Science
  • Computer Science
  • Social Studies
  • Arabic
  • Cooperative and Community Development
  • Accounts and Audits
  • Social Work and Administration
  • Peace and Conflict Resolution
  • Public Administration
  • Business Administration
  • Library and Information Science
  • Qur’anic Science Education
  • Civil Law
  • Sharia and Civil Law

Some of these older Ordinary Diploma programmes should not automatically be assumed to remain available because of the institution’s transition into National Diploma programmes and the 2026 NBTE directive.

Newly Approved National Diploma Programmes

Following the 2026 NBTE approval, COELS can award National Diploma qualifications in:

  • ND Law
  • ND Common and Islamic Law
  • ND Crime Management

The approval took effect immediately. The college also discontinued admissions into the former Ordinary Diploma programmes in Civil Law, Sharia and Civil Law, and Social and Community Development following the development.

Certificate, Professional Diploma and Advanced Diploma Programmes

The college also runs continuing and professional education programmes through various units, including the College Consult Programmes Unit, Directorate of Continuing Education, Centre for Qur’anic Studies and Almajiri Education Advancement, and Centre for Language Advancement.

For the 2026/2027 academic session, recent admission information indicates that the college opened applications for certificate, professional diploma and advanced diploma programmes. Entry requirements vary according to the programme.

Admission Requirements

Admission requirements at COELS depend on the type of programme being applied for. The college offers different routes for NCE, National Diploma, certificate and continuing-education applicants.

NCE Admission Requirements

Candidates seeking NCE admission generally need the required O’Level credits in relevant subjects. The exact combination depends on the chosen NCE course.

Applicants should also meet the relevant JAMB requirements for NCE admission and ensure that their O’Level results are properly available for the admission process.

For programmes such as English, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Arabic, Islamic Studies and Social Studies, candidates should pay particular attention to the subject requirements for their chosen combination.

National Diploma Admission

The college’s 2026 ND expansion covers Law, Common and Islamic Law, and Crime Management. Candidates seeking admission into these programmes should follow the specific requirements published by the institution and NBTE for the relevant admission exercise.

Because these are newly approved programmes, prospective applicants should not rely on older Ordinary Diploma requirements when applying for the new ND programmes.

Certificate and Professional Programmes

The college’s 2026/2027 certificate, professional diploma and advanced diploma admission exercise has separate entry requirements. Recent admission information indicates that certificate programmes can begin from SSCE-level qualifications, while advanced diploma applicants are expected to possess a relevant diploma qualification.

Applicants should check the specific requirements for their selected programme before completing the application.

School Fees

There is no single school-fee amount that applies to every student at College of Education and Legal Studies, Nguru. Fees can differ according to the programme, level, student category and type of qualification.

Published third-party information reports separate fee schedules for NCE and Diploma programmes, including different figures for indigene and non-indigene students. However, because a current official fee schedule was not accessible for independent verification, these figures should not be presented as definitive.

Students should confirm the current approved fees through the college’s official admission or payment channels before making any payment. This is particularly important following the 2026 expansion into National Diploma programmes, because newly approved programmes may have different charges from older Ordinary Diploma programmes.

Cut-Off Mark

A single, officially verified current COELS cut-off mark was not found in the institution’s accessible official information.

Candidates should therefore avoid relying on third-party claims that assign one fixed UTME score to every COELS programme. The required score can depend on the admission exercise and programme.

For NCE applicants, the relevant JAMB and college admission requirements should be checked for the particular session. Candidates applying for the newly approved ND programmes should also follow the requirements attached to those programmes rather than using old Ordinary Diploma figures.

Post-UTME / Screening Information

COELS conducts an admission screening process for prospective NCE and other applicants. Information published for the 2025/2026 NCE admission exercise indicated that the college invited prospective candidates to register for its admission screening process.

Candidates are generally expected to provide their JAMB details, O’Level results and other required information during the application process.

For the 2026/2027 academic session, the college has also opened applications for certificate, professional diploma and advanced diploma programmes through its relevant units. These programmes have separate application requirements and may not follow the same process as the regular NCE admission exercise.

Applicants should use the college’s official website and admission office for the latest application instructions rather than paying individuals who claim to be admission agents.

Hostel / Accommodation

Students seeking admission into COELS should confirm the current availability of hostel accommodation directly with the college.

Because hostel availability, charges and allocation arrangements can change from one academic session to another, prospective students should not rely on old accommodation figures without confirmation.

Students who live outside Nguru may also consider private accommodation around the town, subject to their personal budget and the college’s academic timetable.

Notable Alumni

College of Education and Legal Studies, Nguru has produced graduates through its NCE, Diploma and other programmes since its establishment in 2000.

However, a current official list of individual notable alumni was not located in the sources reviewed for this page. It is therefore preferable to avoid publishing unverified names as notable alumni.

As the college continues to expand its academic programmes, particularly with the 2026 approval for National Diploma programmes, its alumni network is expected to continue developing.

Ogun State Institute of Technology Igbesa - OGITECH
Ogun State Institute of Technology Igbesa – OGITECH

Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa (OGITECH) is a state-owned tertiary institution located in Igbesa, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria. The institution was formerly known as Gateway Polytechnic, Igbesa and was established through the Gateway Polytechnic Enabling Law No. H.B. 29/OG/2005, with its official commissioning taking place on 29 June 2006. The institution is regulated by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and is authorised to award National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), certificates and other approved academic qualifications.

OGITECH offers full-time and part-time programmes across Engineering Technology, Applied Sciences, Environmental Technology, Communication, Information Technology, Business and Management Studies, Financial Management Studies and other technology-related disciplines. The institution’s official website states that its programmes are accredited by the NBTE and that it also operates as a Cisco-accredited ICT centre.

The institution is situated in an area with considerable industrial activity, giving its students access to an environment where technical and practical education can connect with real-world industry. OGITECH also highlights its Robotics and Innovation Centre and technology-focused training as part of its approach to preparing students for employment and entrepreneurship.

History of Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa

The history of Ogun State Institute of Technology can be traced to the establishment of what was initially known as Gateway Polytechnic, Igbesa. The enabling law, House Bill No. 29/OG/2005, was passed by the Ogun State House of Assembly, providing the legal foundation for the institution. Its official commissioning took place on 29 June 2006 in Igbesa, Ogun State.

The institution was created to provide technical and practical-oriented education capable of meeting manpower needs in Nigeria’s industrial, agricultural, commercial and economic sectors. Its academic philosophy places emphasis on applied learning, technology and practical skills rather than relying solely on classroom instruction.

Over time, Gateway Polytechnic Igbesa developed into Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa (OGITECH) and expanded its academic programmes. The institution now offers ND and HND programmes in areas including engineering, science and technology, environmental studies, management, financial management, communication and information technology.

OGITECH has also developed partnerships and professional links in technology and related fields. The institution identifies itself as a Cisco affiliate for ICT training and has incorporated additional technology-oriented learning into its academic environment.

Location of Ogun State Institute of Technology

Ogun State Institute of Technology is located at:

Oba Adesola Market Road, Igbesa, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area, Ogun State, Nigeria.

The institution’s postal address is P.M.B. 2005, Igbesa, Ogun State. Igbesa is situated within Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area, an industrially active part of Ogun State.

The location is one of the features highlighted by the institution because of the presence of manufacturing and other industrial establishments within the wider area. This creates opportunities for students in technology-based programmes to gain exposure to industrial practices.

List of Programmes Offered by Ogun State Institute of Technology

OGITECH offers National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in several schools. The institution’s official website lists the following major programme areas.

Admission Requirements

Admission requirements at OGITECH depend on the programme and whether the applicant is seeking ND, HND or another form of admission.

For ND programmes, candidates generally need the required O’Level credits in relevant subjects. The institution’s published information states that admission requirements include a minimum of five relevant O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, with the exact subjects depending on the chosen programme.

For technical programmes, additional science or technical subjects may be required. For example, the ND Computer Engineering Technology requirements include credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, together with another relevant subject.

Candidates seeking HND admission generally need to possess the relevant National Diploma qualification. The institution’s programme-specific information commonly requires an ND qualification at the appropriate grade together with relevant industrial training or post-ND work experience, depending on the course.

Prospective students should therefore check the requirements for their exact course rather than assuming that the same combination of subjects applies to every programme.

School Fees

OGITECH does not publish one single school-fee amount that applies to every student. The amount payable can depend on the programme, level of study, admission category and other approved institutional charges.

Students should generate and confirm their payment information through the official OGITECH portal before making payment. The institution has specifically warned students and prospective students about fraudulent payment channels and instructed candidates to make payments directly through the institute’s portal.

This is particularly important because unofficial websites and social-media accounts may publish outdated or inaccurate fee figures. Students should confirm the current amount for their programme and level before paying.

Cut-Off Mark

The required UTME score for admission into OGITECH can depend on the programme and the admission exercise. The institution’s official programme-specific admission requirements also make clear that ND applicants are expected to meet the relevant UTME requirement alongside the required O’Level qualifications.

A single cut-off figure should therefore not automatically be presented as applying to every programme without checking the relevant admission notice.

For prospective students, the safest approach is to confirm the current UTME requirement for the specific course when the admission application is opened. OGITECH’s official admission information currently available online relates to the 2025/2026 academic session, rather than a newly published 2026/2027 cut-off notice.

Post-UTME / Screening Information

OGITECH conducts an admission screening process for prospective students. Its official admission platform provides online application and screening services for ND and HND applicants.

The institution’s current official admission page states that the 2025/2026 admission exercise covers its available programmes and directs prospective candidates to the institution’s application process.

Applicants are expected to provide accurate personal and academic information during the application process and upload the required credentials. Candidates should also ensure that their O’Level results are properly uploaded to the JAMB portal where required for ND admission.

After completing the screening process, applicants can use the official OGITECH admission-status portal to check their admission status using their registration number, surname and date of birth.

The institution has also issued a fraud warning advising candidates not to make payments through unofficial links or join social-media groups claiming to represent OGITECH. According to the official disclaimer, candidates should make payments directly through the institute’s portal and follow links sent through official channels.

Hostel / Accommodation

OGITECH provides student-support facilities that include hostel accommodation. Its official online information identifies hostel accommodation among the services available to students.

Students who require accommodation should confirm the current availability, cost, application procedure and allocation arrangements with the institution, as the number of available spaces and accommodation policies can change between academic sessions.

Notable Alumni

Ogun State Institute of Technology has produced graduates who have gone on to work in government establishments, private companies and other organisations. The institution’s prospectus notes that its graduates have taken up employment in public and private-sector organisations within and outside Ogun State.

However, a sufficiently verified official list of individual notable alumni was not found in the institution’s current published information. It is therefore preferable not to attach unverified names to this section.

The College of Postgraduate Studies is currently advertising applications for the 2026/2027 academic session, with its official website indicating an application period running into 2026.

Admission Requirements

Admission into Federal University Dutse is available through UTME and Direct Entry routes, subject to the requirements of the chosen programme.

For the 2026/2027 academic session, the university’s official Post-UTME portal requires candidates to log in with their UTME or Direct Entry registration number and state of origin. Candidates are also required to update their O’Level results, with the university specifying that O’Level results should not exceed two sittings. Where applicable, A’Level results are also required.

Applicants should normally have the required O’Level credits for their chosen programme, including the relevant English Language and Mathematics requirements where applicable. Some professional and science-based programmes have additional subject requirements.

For Direct Entry candidates, qualifications such as NCE, National Diploma, IJMB or other approved advanced qualifications may be considered depending on the programme and JAMB requirements. Candidates should check the requirements for their particular course before applying.

The university’s older official screening notice also required UTME candidates to have selected FUD as their first choice and to possess at least five O’Level credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings. Because admission requirements can be updated, applicants should rely on the current admission notice for their session.

School Fees

Federal University Dutse is a federal university, and students are required to pay approved registration and other institutional charges through the university’s designated payment system.

A single current school-fee figure should not be used for all FUD students because charges can vary according to programme, level, student status and other applicable components.

The university’s current student portal specifically instructs students to process school-fee registration through the FUD MyPortal, where students generate their payment invoice and proceed with the approved payment process. The portal also warns students not to carry out school-fee registration directly through the Remita website.

Students should therefore confirm the amount payable for their particular programme and level through the official portal before making payment.

Cut-Off Mark

Federal University Dutse uses programme-specific UTME minimum scores, rather than one figure that necessarily applies to every course.

For example, the university’s official 2024/2025 Post-UTME notice listed different minimum scores for different programmes. Agricultural Science, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Forestry and Wildlife Management, Economics, English Language, Linguistics and Political Science were listed at 150, while Criminology and Security Studies and several Basic Medical Sciences programmes had higher thresholds. Nursing Science was listed at 220. Computing programmes ranged from 160 to 180 depending on the course.

These figures are historical 2024/2025 figures and should not be presented as the current 2026/2027 departmental cut-off marks.

For candidates applying for the 2026/2027 session, the official screening portal confirms that the screening exercise is ongoing within the published July–September 2026 window, but applicants should check the current programme-specific admission information before relying on an old cut-off figure.

Post-UTME / Screening Information

Federal University Dutse has an official online Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening portal.

For the 2026/2027 academic session, online screening commenced on 7 July 2026 and is scheduled to run until 30 September 2026. Candidates are required to log in using their UTME or Direct Entry registration number and state of origin.

The current screening procedure includes:

  • Login with UTME/DE registration number.
  • Update personal information and biodata.
  • Generate an invoice and RRR.
  • Pay the ₦3,000 Post-UTME/DE online screening fee.
  • Update O’Level results, with a maximum of two sittings.
  • Upload genuine O’Level/A’Level credentials where applicable.
  • Upload a recent passport photograph.
  • Print the acknowledgement and payment slips.

The university specifically warns candidates to ensure that uploaded credentials are genuine and authentic.

Candidates should use only the official FUD admission channels when completing their screening and should be cautious of individuals claiming to offer guaranteed admission.

Hostel / Accommodation

Federal University Dutse provides hostel accommodation for students. The university’s student portal states that fresh students and final-year students are eligible for accommodation, with bed-space allocation in male and female hostels handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Students who require accommodation should apply through the official student portal when the hostel application window is available. Since available bed spaces and accommodation procedures can change, students should confirm the current arrangements before making plans.

Notable Alumni

Federal University Dutse is a relatively young federal university, established in 2011. Consequently, its alumni community is still developing compared with older Nigerian universities.

Rather than listing public figures without sufficient verification from official university sources, it is preferable to update this section as FUD publishes a recognised alumni directory or formally identifies notable graduates.

UNILAG SUG Clarifies Hostel Accommodation Payment Status

The University of Lagos Students’ Union (ULSU) has clarified that payment for hostel accommodation has not started. The union advised students to disregard messages or information claiming that hostel registration or payment has officially commenced.

According to the notice, the hostel payment portal is expected to open in about two weeks and will remain available until the resumption period. Students have also been assured that payment will not be limited to a seven-day period, meaning there is no need to rush to make payment based on unverified claims.

ULSU urged students to remain calm and rely on information released through its official communication channels. Students are particularly advised not to transfer money or make hostel payments through unofficial links or platforms before the university officially announces the commencement of the process.

Admission Requirements

Admission requirements at Al-Istiqama University depend on the programme and admission route. For the latest officially published undergraduate admission exercise located on the university website, applicants for the 2025/2026 academic session were required to have a minimum UTME score of 150. The university also instructed prospective applicants to upload their SSCE results to the JAMB CAPS portal to facilitate admission processing.

Candidates should generally have the required O’Level credits relevant to their chosen programme. However, programmes such as Medicine, Nursing, Law, Engineering and other professional or specialised courses can have additional subject requirements. Applicants should therefore check the programme-specific requirements before completing an application.

For admission screening, the university’s published 2025/2026 application instructions required candidates to attend physical screening with their original credentials and copies of the relevant documents. The university also provided an online application process through its admissions platform.

Applicants seeking Direct Entry, IJMB, pre-degree, remedial or other special admission routes should confirm the specific requirements for that programme before applying.

School Fees

The university’s official website describes its tuition and accommodation charges as affordable, but a comprehensive, current school-fee schedule for every programme and student category was not clearly available in the official information reviewed for this page.

For this reason, students should not rely on unofficial websites or social-media posts for Al-Istiqama University school fees. Fees can differ according to programme, level, accommodation and other applicable charges.

Prospective students should confirm the amount payable for tuition, acceptance, registration, accommodation and other charges directly through the university’s official channels before making payment.

Cut-Off Mark

The latest official undergraduate admission information located from Al-Istiqama University states that the minimum UTME score required for the 2025/2026 admission exercise was 150.

This should be understood as the minimum score stated for that particular admission exercise. It should not automatically be treated as the cut-off mark for a future academic session, especially where the university subsequently publishes new programme-specific requirements.

Candidates should also understand that meeting the minimum UTME score does not by itself guarantee admission. Programme requirements, available spaces, O’Level qualifications and the university’s screening/admission process also matter.

Post-UTME / Screening Information

For the 2025/2026 admission exercise, Al-Istiqama University instructed prospective applicants to complete an online application and subsequently attend physical screening with their original credentials. The university’s published application procedure included account creation, payment of the application fee, completion of the application form, document upload and physical screening.

The university stated that the application fee for the 2025/2026 exercise was ₦20,300, while the minimum UTME score was 150. Because these figures relate specifically to the 2025/2026 exercise, applicants should confirm any new application fee and screening requirements before making payment for a subsequent session.

The official application information also directed candidates to use the university’s designated admissions platform and provided contact details for admission support. Candidates should avoid paying admission-related fees to individuals who claim to be agents of the university without verification.

Hostel / Accommodation

Al-Istiqama University states that its campus facilities include hostel accommodation alongside lecture theatres, laboratories, a library, sports facilities and other student-support facilities.

Students who require accommodation should confirm the current hostel availability, charges, application procedure and applicable rules directly with the university, as accommodation arrangements may change from one academic session to another.

Notable Alumni

Al-Istiqama University is a relatively young institution, having commenced academic activities in 2021. Its first convocation was held in February 2025 to celebrate its pioneer graduates.

As the university’s alumni network continues to develop, a comprehensive list of widely recognised alumni was not verified from the university’s official sources reviewed for this page. It is therefore preferable to avoid publishing unverified names as notable alumni.
