FUTMINNA Post UTME/DE Screening Form is still on sale 2026/2027

The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA), has announced the commencement of its University Pre-Admission Screening Exercise (UPASE) for UTME and Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into the 2026/2027 academic session. The screening registration portal opened on Monday, June 15, 2026, and will close at midnight on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

Candidates eligible for the FUTMINNA Post UTME/Direct Entry screening are those who selected the university as their first choice institution in the 2026 admission exercise. UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 150 marks, although some programmes may require higher scores based on the university’s approved cut-off marks.

All applicants are required to possess at least five O’Level credit passes, including Mathematics and English Language, in subjects relevant to their chosen courses. The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings. Candidates must also ensure that their O’Level results are uploaded on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), as this forms part of the admission requirements.

The major FUTMINNA UPASE 2026/2027 requirements and registration details are summarised below:

Direct Entry candidates must meet additional requirements, including a minimum of Lower Credit at National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) level, while candidates with National Certificate in Education (NCE) must have at least a Merit grade.

Candidates who meet the minimum UTME score but do not have the required UTME or O’Level subject combination for their selected course may be allowed to change to another programme whose requirements they satisfy. Applicants awaiting O’Level results can also apply but must upload their results on the FUTMINNA portal and JAMB CAPS once they become available.

To complete the application, candidates are required to visit the FUTMINNA UPASE portal, verify their eligibility, generate a Remita invoice, pay the ₦2,000 screening fee, complete the online registration form, upload required details, and print the registration slip after successful submission.

Applicants are advised to carefully review their JAMB details, chosen course, O’Level subjects, and contact information before final submission. The FUTMINNA UPASE registration portal will close on October 4, 2026, and candidates are encouraged to complete their applications before the deadline to avoid last-minute difficulties.

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) has warned prospective students for the 2026/2027 admission exercise against individuals claiming they can secure admission into the university in exchange for money.

The union stated that FUTMINNA admission follows an official process and that no agent, individual or third party has the authority to guarantee admission outside the approved procedures. Aspirants were advised to avoid making payments to anyone who promises admission assistance.

The SUG also encouraged candidates to verify any admission-related information and contact details before taking action. The union noted that it is working with the university management to identify and address fraudulent activities targeting admission seekers.
