History of the Institution

The history of Benue State Polytechnic dates back to 1977 during the administration of Colonel Abdullahi Shelleng, when the institution was originally established as the Murtala College of Arts, Science and Technology. The college was created to provide middle-level technical and vocational manpower training for the old Benue State.

Following the creation of Benue State and subsequent educational reforms, the institution was upgraded and restructured into a full-fledged polytechnic known today as Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo. Admission Requirements

ND (National Diploma) Admission Requirements
