The management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has announced the commencement of its online registration for Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission screening for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The exercise is open to candidates who selected the institution as their first choice in JAMB, as well as those willing to process a Change of Institution to UNICROSS.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are eligible to apply if they meet the following conditions:

  • Scored a minimum of 150 and above in the 2026 UTME
  • Selected UNICROSS as first choice institution, or have completed a Change of Institution via JAMB
  • Must possess the required O’Level credit passes relevant to their chosen course

  • Complete the application form and upload required documents
  • Submit application and print acknowledgment slip

University of Cross River State  popularly known as UNICROSS  is a public state university located in Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. The university was originally established as Cross River State University of Technology (CRUTECH) in 2002 and was officially renamed University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) in 2021 by the Cross River State Government. History of the Institution

The University of Cross River State traces its origin to 2002, when the Cross River State Government established the Cross River State University of Technology (CRUTECH) to promote science, engineering, and technology education in the state.

University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) is accepting applications for the post of Bursar. The role is open to qualified accountants with at least 15 years of experience and professional certifications. Applications must be submitted within six weeks.

The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has announced a job opening for the position of Bursar. This office is no small task. The Bursar serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the University and is directly responsible to the Vice Chancellor. From overseeing funds to keeping accounts balanced across all campuses, the Bursar is both a principal officer and an active member of the University Management team.

The role calls for steady hands and a clear mind, someone who can manage financial affairs without losing sight of accountability.

Qualifications and Experience Needed

To be considered for the post, candidates must:

  • Hold a B.Sc. in Accounting with at least Second Class Lower or its equivalent. A Master’s degree is acceptable too.
  • Have a minimum of 15 years of related experience, with much of it spent in a university or comparable body.
