The Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY) , Iree has announced its 8th Combined Convocation Ceremony, scheduled from Monday, 23 March to Thursday, 26 March 2026. The event is open to graduands, parents, guardians, friends of the Polytechnic, and the general public.

Monday, 23 March 2026
- Press Conference at ETF Hall by 10:00 a.m.
Tuesday, 24 March 2026
- Novelty football match between Polytechnic staff and graduands at 3:00 p.m., OSPOLY Football Field
Wednesday, 25 March 2026
- Convocation Lecture at ETF Hall by 11:00 a.m.
- Lecturer: Professor Yakib Afolabi, Federal University of Oye-Ekiti
Thursday, 26 March 2026
- Award of certificates and diplomas at 10:00 a.m., Osun State Polytechnic Sports Complex
Academic Gowns and Hood Collection
- Graduands who have completed their programmes and cleared for convocation must collect gowns and hoods from their Faculties from 24 March 2026.
- Gown hire fee: N5,000 (payable at the Bursary)
- All academic gowns and hoods must be returned to Faculties on or before Monday, 30 March 2026
Assembly and Seating Arrangement
- Graduands and award winners are required to assemble at the Convocation Arena on Thursday, 26 March 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
- Graduands must be fully robed and seated according to their Faculties.
- No one, including graduands and guests, will be admitted after 9:00 a.m.
General Instructions for Graduands and Guests
- All graduands must wear prescribed academic gowns; security will enforce the “No Gown, No Entry” rule.
- Guests with invitation cards must be seated by 9:00 a.m.
- Designated parking lots are provided within the Polytechnic premises
Clearance Process
- Graduands should begin the clearance process immediately at their respective Faculties to facilitate timely collection of academic gowns and hoods.
