Academic Gowns and Hood Collection

  • Graduands who have completed their programmes and cleared for convocation must collect gowns and hoods from their Faculties from 24 March 2026.
  • Gown hire fee: N5,000 (payable at the Bursary)
  • All academic gowns and hoods must be returned to Faculties on or before Monday, 30 March 2026

Assembly and Seating Arrangement

  • Graduands and award winners are required to assemble at the Convocation Arena on Thursday, 26 March 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
  • Graduands must be fully robed and seated according to their Faculties.
  • No one, including graduands and guests, will be admitted after 9:00 a.m.

General Instructions for Graduands and Guests

  • All graduands must wear prescribed academic gowns; security will enforce the “No Gown, No Entry” rule.
  • Guests with invitation cards must be seated by 9:00 a.m.
  • Designated parking lots are provided within the Polytechnic premises

  • Graduands should begin the clearance process immediately at their respective Faculties to facilitate timely collection of academic gowns and hoods.
