The Federal University Dutse (FUDUTSE) has approved disciplinary sanctions against 22 students following consideration of the report of the 20th meeting of the Students’ Disciplinary Committee. The decisions were approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ahmad Mohammed Gumel.

The university urged students to take university regulations and their academic responsibilities seriously and to avoid conduct that could attract disciplinary action. Students were also advised to uphold discipline both on and off campus and comply with the institution’s rules and regulations.

FUDUTSE Gets NUC Approval for 30 New Academic Programmes

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the establishment of the Faculty of Law at Federal University Dutse (FUDUTSE) and granted approval for the university to commence 30 new academic programmes from the 2026/2027 academic session. The approval covers full-time study and was conveyed in a letter dated 11 September 2026, signed by the NUC Director of Academic Planning, Abubakar M. Girei.
