Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST), popularly known as KUST Wudil, is the former name of what is now officially called Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil (ADUSTECH). It is a state-owned university located in Wudil, Kano State, Nigeria. The university is widely recognized for science, engineering, environmental studies, agriculture, education, and technology-based programmes. It began academic activities in 2001 and remains one of Northern Nigeria’s leading state universities.

History of the Institution

The institution was established by the Kano State Government and originally operated as Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST), Wudil. It was created to promote science and technology education in Kano State and Northern Nigeria.

In 2022, the university was officially renamed Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil (ADUSTECH). Despite the name change, many students and the public still search for the institution using “KUST”.

Students who applied to the Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, Kano State, can now check their admission status for the 2025/2026 academic session. The university has published the official ADUSTECH admission list on its website, giving successful applicants access to confirm their provisional admission.

How to Check the ADUSTECH Admission List

The full list of admitted candidates is available on the university website at kustwudil.edu.ng/admissionlist. A search box on the page allows users to check their admission status using their JAMB number, surname, first name, or middle name.

 

 

Candidates who find their names on the list have been offered provisional admission into undergraduate programmes for the 2025/2026 session.

Steps After Admission

  1. Log in to the student portal using your JAMB number as both username and password.
  2. Print your acceptance fee payment invoice.
  3. Make the acceptance fee payment to confirm your offer.
  4. Once payment is successful, print your admission letter from the same portal.

In addition, every admitted candidate must log in to the JAMB portal, upload their O-Level results, and accept the admission offer on that platform. Only after completing this step can ADUSTECH issue its official admission letter.

Students who complete all steps successfully can begin their registration process within the specified dates on the portal.
