Adamawa State University commonly known as ADSU is a state-owned university located in Mubi, Adamawa State, Nigeria. Established in 2002, it is the first state university in North-East Nigeria, created to promote access to higher education and support regional development.

ADSU Releases 2026/2027 First batch Admission List
Adamawa State University (ADSU) has released its first admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. Candidates can check their admission status through JAMB CAPS to confirm whether the university has offered them admission. To check, visit the JAMB eFacility portal, log in with your JAMB details, select Check Admission Status, then Access my CAPS and open Admission Status. Candidates can also use this JAMB CAPS guide for assistance.
Candidates may see different responses on CAPS, including Admission Offered, Admission in Progress, Recommended, Not Admitted or Pending. An “Admission Offered” status means the candidate can proceed to accept or reject the offer, while the other responses indicate that the application is still being processed or that admission has not been granted at that time. Candidates who have not yet received an offer are advised to continue checking their CAPS status as the admission process progresses.
Candidates offered admission are expected to accept or reject the offer through an approved JAMB CBT Centre using biometrics or by SMS. For the SMS option, send ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 with the phone number registered with JAMB. After accepting the offer, candidates can print their JAMB admission letter. Candidates checking CAPS on a mobile phone who cannot see the Admission Status option may need to use Chrome and select Request desktop site.
