The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has opened the portal for the printing of 2026 Mock UTME slips from Monday, 23 March 2026. Candidates who registered for the mock examination can now access and print their slips to confirm their exam venue and time ahead of the test scheduled for Saturday, 28 March 2026.

The mock examination is designed to test the Computer-Based Test (CBT) system while also helping candidates become familiar with the exam environment before the main UTME.

How To Print The JAMB Mock Slip

JAMB has provided two official methods for candidates to check and print their mock examination slips.

What The Mock Slip Contains

The mock slip provides essential details required for the examination, including:

  • Examination venue
  • Date of the exam
  • Reporting time

Candidates are advised to carefully review this information, as it determines where and when they are expected to sit for the mock test.

JAMB Extends Mock Exam Duration

JAMB has announced that the 2026 Mock UTME will last for four hours, instead of the usual two hours. According to the board, this adjustment is aimed at giving candidates more time to familiarise themselves with the CBT system.

The examination will be conducted in two sessions:

  • 8:00 a.m. โ€“ 10:00 a.m.
  • 10:30 a.m. โ€“ 12:30 p.m.

Candidates are expected to participate in both sessions consecutively. EducationNGR gathered that this extended format is part of JAMBโ€™s strategy to improve candidatesโ€™ readiness for the main UTME.

Participation Is Mandatory

The JAMB Registrar, Is-haq Oloyede, has stated that participation in the mock examination is compulsory for all candidates who registered for it.

He emphasised that the mock has limited slots, and any candidate who fails to attend wastes an opportunity that could have been given to another interested applicant.

Candidates are therefore advised to make adequate preparations and ensure they attend the mock examination as scheduled.
