KANO POLY ND And HND Registration Procedure 2025/2026

Kano State Polytechnic has released the official registration procedure for fresh and returning National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The process follows a structured sequence covering admission acceptance, screening, payments, portal activities, and documentation. Students are advised to follow the steps exactly as issued.

Categories Covered By This Procedure

The registration guide applies to the following groups:

  • Fresh ND students

  • Fresh HND students

  • Returning ND students

  • Returning HND students

Registration Procedure For Fresh ND And HND Students

Step 1: Accept Or Reject Admission

Fresh students are required to log in to their portal accounts to accept or reject the admission offer.

Step 2: Pay Acceptance Fee And Print Admission Letter

Before printing the Polytechnic admission letter, students must pay the acceptance fee.

The acceptance fee is ₦10,000.00.

Step 3: Accept Admission On JAMB (ND Only)

ND students must log in to their JAMB profiles to accept the admission and print the JAMB admission letter.

Step 4: Departmental Screening And Stamping

Students are to proceed to their respective departments for screening. Admission letters will be signed and stamped at this stage.

Step 5: Pay Union Dues

Students are required to pay union dues at the Micro Finance Bank.

The union dues fee is ₦1,500.00.

Step 6: School Assessment And Document Submission

Students should meet the Students Affairs Officer at their respective schools with photocopies of the following documents:

  • Screened Polytechnic admission letter

  • JAMB admission letter (ND students)

  • NBTE admission letter (HND students)

  • Teller for union dues payment

  • Copies of all original credentials

  • Passport photograph

Step 7: Account Activation

Students must visit the MIS unit for account activation before proceeding to portal transactions.

Step 8: Portal Payments And Printing

After account activation, students should log in to the Kano State Polytechnic SRMS portal to complete the following:

  • Payment of central registration fee

  • Payment of departmental registration fee

  • Printing of payment receipts

  • Printing of course registration form

  • Printing of student examination card

Step 9: Library Registration

Students are to proceed to the Polytechnic library to complete library registration.

Step 10: Payment Authentication At The Bursary

All payments must be authenticated at the Bursary Department, Central Administration.

Step 11: Final Departmental Documentation

Students are to return to their departments with the following for final documentation:

  • Two copies of all credentials

  • Two recent passport photographs

Registration Procedure For Returning ND And HND Students

Step 1: Collect Clearance Form

Returning students should visit their departments to collect the clearance form.

Step 2: Pay Union Dues

Union dues are payable at the Micro Finance Bank.

The union dues fee is ₦1,500.00.

Step 3: Submit Documents To MIS Representative

Students should submit photocopies of the following to the MIS representative at their school:

  • Clearance form

  • Previously authenticated payment receipt

  • Teller for union dues payment

Step 4: Portal Payments And Printing

Students are to log in to the Kano State Polytechnic SRMS portal to complete the following:

  • Payment of central registration fee

  • Payment of departmental registration fee

  • Printing of payment receipts

  • Printing of course registration form

  • Printing of student examination card

Step 5: Payment Authentication

Students must proceed to the Bursary Department for payment authentication.

Step 6: Submit Documents To Department

Authenticated payment evidence and other registration documents should be submitted to the department for record completion.

Fees Applicable Under This Procedure

The fees stated in the registration guide are as follows:

  • Acceptance fee (fresh students): ₦10,000.00

  • Union dues (fresh and returning students): ₦1,500.00

Students are advised to complete all registration steps within the approved timelines to avoid delays or penalties during the 2025/2026 academic session.
