Osun State Polytechnic  widely known as OSPOLY  is a state government-owned polytechnic located in Iree, Boripe Local Government Area, Osun State, South-Western Nigeria. Established in 1991 by the Osun State Government under the administration of Governor Isiaka Adeleke, the polytechnic commenced academic activities shortly thereafter with the mission of providing technical and vocational education to the people of Osun State and beyond . It is fully accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and approved by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Osun State Polytechnic offers National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes across several faculties, including Management Studies, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Environmental Studies, and Art and Design. History of the Institution

The establishment of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, is rooted in the Osun State Government’s vision to create a technical education institution that would serve the growing population of the newly created state. Osun State was carved out of the old Oyo State in August 1991, and later that same year, the polytechnic was established by the state government. Admission Requirements

ND (National Diploma) Full-Time Admission

• A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC (SSCE), NECO (SSCE), GCE O’Level, or NABTEB 

• A valid JAMB UTME score. Candidates must select Osun State Polytechnic as their institution of first choice

• All eligible candidates must participate in the polytechnic’s Post-UTME screening exercise and meet the departmental cut-off mark

HND (Higher National Diploma) Admission
