Novena University, Ogume

Novena University is a private co-educational university located in Ogume, Delta State, Nigeria. It was established in 2005 as the first private university in Delta State . The university was founded with a vision to build a renowned institution focused on strong scholarship and training in Health and Medical Science, Law, Information and Communication Technology, Intelligence and Security Studies, Energy and Petroleum, and other critical fields to ensure a sustainable future for Nigeria. History of the Institution

Novena University was established in 2005, marking it as the first private university in Delta State, Nigeria . The university has continued to expand its academic offerings and infrastructure. In January 2017, Novena University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Delta State Government for the training of its medical students. Under this agreement, the Delta State government makes its hospitals available for the training of Novena University‘s medical students, while the university assists in upgrading facilities in the health institutions to meet required standards .
