Admission Requirements

Undergraduate Admission

  • Candidates must sit for the UTME conducted by JAMB.

FUDutsinma Merit Admission List 2026/2027

The Federal University, Dutsin-Ma (FUDutsinma) has released its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. The university has commenced the uploading of the names of successful candidates on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

Candidates who applied for admission to FUDutsinma are advised to check their admission status through the JAMB CAPS portal. The list is being uploaded online, so applicants should regularly check their CAPS profile for updates on their admission status.

To check the FUDutsinma admission status, candidates should visit the JAMB e-Facility portal and log in with the email address and password linked to their JAMB profile. From the dashboard, select “Check Admission Status”, then click on “Access my CAPS” and select “Admission Status” to view the admission decision.

Candidates who have been offered admission can proceed to accept or reject the offer through JAMB CAPS. According to the information provided, candidates may also send ACCEPT or REJECT by SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile. Candidates are advised to complete the process promptly and follow further instructions from FUDutsinma regarding registration and clearance.

School Fees

The last known school fees for undergraduate students are approximately:

  • Fresh students: ₦50,000 – ₦80,000 per session

  • Returning students: ₦40,000 – ₦60,000 per session

FUDMA Suspends Student Sporting Activities

The management of the Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA), Katsina State, has suspended all ongoing and upcoming student sporting activities with effect from Wednesday, 14 October 2026. The suspension will remain in force until the university reviews the activities and introduces necessary improvements.

The decision follows concerns about how some student activities have been organised, particularly Final Year Week (FYB Week) celebrations and other student events. The university management said the suspension is intended to allow a review of the organisation and conduct of these activities.

The directive covers all student sporting activities held within the university premises, particularly those taking place on the university field and at the Arena near the institution.
