Step 1: Payment of Acceptance Fee

All admitted students must pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦7,000 through the FUBK SBS portal.
This payment confirms that the candidate has accepted the offer of admission into the School of Basic Studies.

Step 2: Screening Exercise

After acceptance fee payment, students are required to attend a physical screening exercise at the School of Basic Studies premises, located at the university’s take-off site along Birnin Kebbi–Jega Road.

Date: Monday, 3 November 2025

Documents Required for Verification:

  • Original O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc.)
  • Declaration of Age or Birth Certificate
  • Certificate of Indigene

Step 3: Payment of School Fees

Upon successful screening and approval, students should generate a Remita invoice for the payment of school fees, which amounts to ₦58,000.

Step 4: Admission Confirmation

After payment confirmation, students will receive an official Confirmation of Admission Letter and a Student File from the SBS Administrative Office.

Step 5: Commencement of Lectures

Lectures for the 2025/2026 academic session are scheduled to begin on Monday, 10 November 2025.
All students are expected to resume promptly and attend lectures regularly after completing their registration.

Qualified participants will present their ideas before a panel of academics, journalists, tax officials, and committee members. Zonal winners progress to the national finals.

Stage 3 – National Finals

Finalists will compete at a live event broadcast nationwide on TV, radio, and digital platforms. Judges will include policy experts, scholars, and media professionals.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced a change in the passing-out date for members of the 2024 Batch C Stream 1. The new date for the event is Tuesday, 11th November 2025, replacing the earlier scheduled date of Thursday, 6th November 2025.

According to the NYSC management, the adjustment was made following a review of ongoing administrative and operational activities. The change affects all corps members currently serving under the 2024 Batch C Stream 1 across Nigeria.

Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY) Acceptance Fee Deadline for Freshers 2025/2026

The management of Osun State Polytechnic (OSPOLY), Iree, has announced the final deadline for all newly admitted students of the 2025/2026 academic session to pay their acceptance fee.

According to the management, many students have accepted their admission offers on the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) but are yet to complete the process by paying the required acceptance fee to the institution.
