The Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Sciences (AKSCONS), Ikot Ekpene, has announced the commencement of registration for admission into its Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing Programme for the 2026 academic session.
The announcement was issued by the Registrar, Mr Philip I. Eduok, and provides details on the registration period, daily registration hours, venue, and documents required from prospective candidates. EducationNGR also learnt that the registration exercise will be conducted strictly within the stated timeline.
Registration Dates And Venue
According to the College, registration will run from Monday, 9 February 2026 to Friday, 20 March 2026. The exercise will take place at the College premises in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State.
Daily Registration Time
Candidates are expected to register between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. The College advised applicants to arrive early, as registration outside the approved hours may not be entertained.
Documents Required For Registration
Prospective candidates are required to present two photocopies of each of the following documents during registration:

Educational certificates: FSLC, WASC, SSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB with five (5) credit passes in:

The College warned that candidates who fail to present any of the required documents may not be allowed to complete the registration process.
