Osun State University popularly known as UNIOSUN is a public multi-campus state university located in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria. Established in 2006 by the Osun State Government, the university has grown into one of Nigeria’s respected state universities. UNIOSUN offers undergraduate, postgraduate, pre-degree, part-time, and professional programmes across several campuses in Osun State. The institution is fully recognised by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and is known for academic quality, innovation, research, and structured multi-campus learning. History of the Institution
Osun State University was established in 2006 by the administration of the Osun State Government to expand access to quality university education and support regional development.
The university adopted a multi-campus structure, with campuses spread across different towns in Osun State. This model was designed to stimulate educational growth and economic development across the state.
