The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of Gombe State University has issued an important notice to students whose names appeared in the first batch of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) beneficiaries for the 2025/2026 academic session.
EducationNGR gathered that affected students have been advised to log in to their NELFUND dashboards to confirm their beneficiary status.
Registration Fee Already Paid By Management
According to the SRC, the university management has already paid the registration fees of the beneficiaries directly to the institution.
As a result, students in the first batch are only required to pay a portal charge of ₦2,500 to complete their registration process on the university portal.
Advisory On Double Refund Issue
The council also clarified that students who earlier received double refunds and have not returned the excess amount will not be eligible to make the portal payment until the matter is resolved.
Students affected by this issue are expected to address it before proceeding with the required payment.
Compliance Notice
The SRC urged all concerned students to comply promptly with the directive in order to avoid delays in completing their academic registration.
The notice was signed by:
-

For:
