See Nigerian Law School 2025/2026 Bar Part II Academic Calendar

The Council of Legal Education has approved and released the 2025/2026 Bar Part II academic calendar for the Nigerian Law School.

The calendar applies to all campuses of the Nigerian Law School, with activities structured across three academic terms.

First Term Schedule

• Registration, induction and mock trials: 2 March – 13 March 2026

• Lectures commence: 16 March 2026

• Director-General’s address: 14 April 2026

• First Term Bob Dinner: 21 April – 23 April 2026

• Second Bob Dinner and end of lectures: 12 May – 14 May 2026

• Pre-externship workshop: 14 May 2026

Second Term Schedule

• Pre-externship vacation: 15 May 2026

• Court externship: 18 May – 19 June 2026

• Mid-externship vacation: 22 June – 26 June 2026

• Chambers externship: 29 June – 31 July 2026

• Post-externship vacation: 3 August – 7 August 2026

Third Term Schedule

• Portfolio assessment: 10 August – 21 August 2026

The dates for the publication of results and the Call to the Bar ceremony are yet to be announced.
