KANOPOLY Registration Procedure For Basic And Remedial Studies 2025/2026

Kano State Polytechnic (KANOPOLY ) has released the registration procedure for candidates admitted into the School for Basic and Remedial Studies for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The process covers admission acceptance, screening, assessment, portal payments, and documentation. Candidates are expected to follow the steps in the stated order to complete registration successfully.

Step 1: Accept Or Reject Admission

Candidates are required to log in to their admission portal account to accept or reject the offer of admission.

Step 2: Pay Acceptance Fee And Print Admission Letter

After accepting the admission, candidates must pay the acceptance fee before printing the admission letter.

The acceptance fee is N7,000.00.

Step 3: Attend Screening At The School

Candidates are to report for screening at the School for Basic and Remedial Studies, located along Sheik Ja’afar Mahmud Adam Road (Dorayi Road).

Step 4: Assessment By Students Affairs Officer

Following screening, candidates are required to meet the Students Affairs Officer at the School for assessment. The following documents should be presented in photocopies:

  • Polytechnic admission letter

  • Copies of all original credentials

  • Passport photograph

Step 5: Account Activation By MIS Unit

Candidates must proceed to the Management Information System (MIS) unit for account activation. Registration cannot continue until the account status is marked active.

Step 6: Complete Portal Payments And Print Documents

Once the account is active, candidates should log in to the Kano State Polytechnic SRMS portal to complete the following:

  • Pay central registration fee

  • Pay departmental registration fee

  • Print payment receipts

  • Print course registration form

  • Print student examination card

Step 7: Library Registration

Candidates are required to proceed to the Polytechnic library for library registration.

Step 8: Payment Authentication At The Bursary

All payments made on the portal must be authenticated at the Bursary Department, Central Administration.

Step 9: Submission Of Credentials For Documentation

The final stage requires candidates to return to the School for documentation with the following:

  • Two copies of all credentials

  • Two recent passport photographs

  • Proof of payment, including the acceptance fee of N7,000.00
