Aliko Dangote College of Nursing Sciences, Bauchi  widely known as ADCNS  is a public nursing college located beside the Specialist Hospital, Ran Road, Bauchi, Bauchi State, North-Eastern Nigeria. The college was established in 2010 following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the civilian administration of Malam (Dr.) Isah Yuguda and the Federal Government, after the former Schools of Nursing and Midwifery were ceded to the Federal Government. The Bauchi State House of Assembly passed the law establishing the college, which was assented to by the then Governor on 30th January 2011. The college started operation in September 2013, following the appointment of the Governing Council.

The college obtained its provisional accreditation in October 2019 from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). History of the Institution

Aliko Dangote College of Nursing Sciences, Bauchi was established in 2010 following a significant policy decision by the Bauchi State Government. The civilian administration of Malam (Dr.) Isah Yuguda entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federal Government after the former Schools of Nursing and Midwifery were ceded to the Federal Government. This necessitated the creation of a new state-owned nursing college to continue the training of nurses and midwives in Bauchi State.

The Bauchi State House of Assembly passed the law establishing the college, and the then Governor assented to the law on 30th January 2011. The college began its operations in September 2013, following the appointment of the Governing Council. In October 2019, the college obtained its provisional accreditation from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN), a significant milestone that validated the quality of its programmes.
