The University of Melbourne has opened applications for the 2026 Graduate Research Scholarship, a fully funded opportunity for domestic and international students pursuing Master’s by Research and Doctoral degrees in Australia. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and provides comprehensive financial support throughout the study period.

About The Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarship
The University of Melbourne Graduate Research Scholarship covers full tuition fees and provides a generous living allowance, alongside relocation support for eligible students. It is available to both new applicants and students already enrolled in graduate research programmes at the University.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following conditions:

Have applied for and meet the entry requirements for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne, or
-
Be currently enrolled in a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne

Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates may receive the following benefits:
