How to Apply for Oando NEPL JV 2026/2027 Undergraduate Scholarship

The NEPL/OERNL Joint Venture, through Oando Energy Resources Nigeria Limited, has announced the commencement of applications for the 2026/2027 Tertiary Scholarship Scheme.

EducationNGR reports that the scholarship is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative aimed at supporting undergraduate education across Nigeria.

Scholarship Categories

Host/Transit Communities Merit Award

This category is for students from Oando host or transit communities in:

  • Rivers State

  • Bayelsa State

  • Delta State

  • Imo State

National Merit Award

This category is open to students from across Nigeria outside the host communities.

Who Can Apply

Applicants must:

  • Be registered full-time undergraduates in Nigerian tertiary institutions

  • Be in 100 level at the time of application

Who Is Not Eligible

The scholarship is not open to:

  • Students in 200 level and above

  • Beneficiaries of other scholarships from companies or agencies

  • Dependants of staff of Oando PLC and its subsidiaries

Documents Needed For The Application

Applicants are required to upload scanned copies of:

  • Recent passport photograph (white background)

  • School ID card

  • O’Level result and admission letter

  • Birth certificate and proof of LGA of origin

  • Community identification letter (for host community applicants)

  • JAMB result and other supporting documents

  • Applicants must score at least 50% to qualify
