Candidates who participated in the university’s screening exercise can now check their admission status through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). At present, JAMB CAPS is the stated route for candidates to confirm their admission position.

Candidates can check their status by visiting the JAMB eFacility portal, logging in with their JAMB username and password, and selecting “Check Admission Status.” They should then open “Access my CAPS” and select “Admission Status” to view the FUOYE admission position. Candidates who need additional assistance with the process can also consult the JAMB CAPS admission guide for the relevant steps.

The status displayed on JAMB CAPS can vary depending on the stage of the admission process. “Admission Offered” indicates that JAMB has approved the offer, while “Admission in Progress” or “AIP” and “Recommended” indicate that the admission is still going through the necessary review and approval stages. Candidates whose status shows “Pending” should continue checking for an update, while “Not Admitted” does not necessarily mean that all admission processing has ended, particularly where additional lists or reviews may still be pending.

Candidates who receive an admission offer will need to accept or reject it through the available JAMB process, either by completing biometrics at an approved JAMB CBT centre or by sending “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” to 55019 or 66019 from their JAMB-registered phone number. Those who accept the offer can subsequently print their JAMB admission letter. Candidates checking CAPS on a phone who cannot see the admission-status option may also switch their browser to desktop mode, such as “Request desktop site” in Chrome, to access the full platform.

Acceptance Fee / Registration

FUOYE Acceptance Fee Payment and Resumption Date for Freshers 2026/2027

Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has announced the commencement of acceptance fee payment and resumption guidelines for newly admitted students for the 2026/2027 academic session. The university congratulated freshers on their provisional admission and advised them to complete the required processes to secure their admission.

According to the notice released by the university management, newly admitted students are required to log in to their student portal and pay the acceptance fee together with other prescribed charges. The admission remains provisional until students complete the required payments and clearance process.

FUOYE warned that failure to complete the financial obligations and other admission requirements within the stipulated period will be treated as a decline of the admission offer, and the available admission space may be forfeited.

Fresh students are expected to resume on campus on Monday, 21 September 2026 and come prepared for the clearance process. The notice was signed by Professor Temitope Babalola, Dean, Student Affairs and Support Services, on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor and the university management.

FUOYE Resumption Date

FUOYE Announces September 21, 2026 Resumption Date for New 100-Level Students

Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has announced Monday, 21 September 2026 as the resumption date for newly admitted 100-Level students for the 2026/2027 academic session. The date specifically applies to students who have recently secured admission into the university at 100 Level as they prepare to commence academic activities for the new session.

The university community and members of the public have been informed of the resumption arrangement by FUOYE Management. Newly admitted students are therefore expected to take note of 21 September 2026 and make the necessary preparations to resume on the announced date.

The resumption date does not currently apply to other categories of FUOYE students. The university has not yet announced a separate resumption date for returning students or other students who are not part of the newly admitted 100-Level group. Such students are advised to await further communication from the university rather than assume that 21 September is their resumption date.

FUOYE Management has welcomed the newly admitted students as they prepare to begin their studies in the 2026/2027 academic session. Students should continue to monitor official university communication for any additional information concerning registration, academic activities and other requirements associated with resumption.
