FUOTUOKE 2026/2027 Post UTME Screening Application form now in sale

Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) has commenced its 2026/2027 Post UTME screening exercise for qualified JAMB UTME candidates. Applicants who selected the university as their first choice and scored at least 150 in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply. Candidates who initially selected another institution can also apply if they meet the 150 UTME score requirement, but they must first complete a JAMB change of institution or course to Federal University Otuoke and select an available programme.

The FUOTUOKE Post UTME application fee is N2,000, which is non-refundable. Candidates are required to make payment through the university portal using an Interswitch Verve or Mastercard debit card. Applications should be completed through the FUOTUOKE online application portal, where applicants are advised to carefully read the instructions before submitting their forms and ensure that all information supplied is accurate.

During the online application, candidates are required to upload clear PDF copies of their WAEC, NECO or NABTEB O’Level result, LGA identification letter, birth certificate or age declaration, and NIN registration slip. Candidates must provide a valid personal email address and phone number and upload their O’Level result scratch card details. Applicants combining two O’Level results should provide the scratch card details for both results. FUOTUOKE also states that candidates whose O’Level results have not been uploaded to JAMB CAPS will not be considered for admission, while false claims relating to UTME scores, O’Level grades or state of origin may lead to disqualification.

The online application opened on Wednesday, 20 May 2026, and the closing date is Wednesday, 30 September 2026. The specific Post UTME screening date will be provided after an applicant completes the application and will appear on the PUTME screening schedule printout. Federal University Otuoke Opens 2026/2027 Part-Time Degree Admission

Federal University Otuoke (FUO) has commenced applications for admission into its part-time degree programmes through the Centre for Continuing Education for the 2026/2027 academic session. The admission exercise covers programmes in Arts, Management Sciences, Science, Social Sciences and Education. Prospective candidates are expected to meet the required O’Level conditions for their chosen programmes and complete the application process through the university’s eCampus application portal.

The required credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings. Candidates presenting two sittings are expected to upload both O’Level results during the online application.

Applicants should complete the application online through the FUOTUOKE eCampus portal and upload the required documents, including a passport photograph, O’Level result(s), birth certificate or age declaration, and LGA identification letter. After submitting the form, candidates are required to print the application summary page and forward duplicate copies of the summary together with photocopies of the uploaded documents to the Admissions Office of the Centre for Continuing Education, Federal University Otuoke. The application processing fee is N15,000, and the fee is non-refundable.

Federal University Otuoke Opens Recruitment for Academic and Senior Administrative Positions

Federal University Otuoke (FUO) has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for vacant academic and senior administrative positions across selected faculties, departments and directorates. The recruitment advertisement was approved by the Governing Council at its 28th Regular Meeting held on 16 February 2026, with the vacancies linked to the approved recruitment quota for the 2025 recruitment exercise. The available academic positions are at the ranks of Senior Lecturer, Reader and Professor, while senior administrative vacancies include Chief Legal Officer and Deputy Director Public Relations.

Academic vacancies are available in the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture and Faculty of Pharmacy. The Environmental Sciences positions cover Water Management, Survey and Geo-Informatics with GIS option, and Climate Change. The senior administrative vacancies are for Chief Legal Officer (CONTISS 14) in the Directorate of Legal Services and Deputy Director Public Relations (CONTISS 14) in the Directorate of Public Relations. The Chief Legal Officer position requires five O’Level credits including English Language and Mathematics, an LL.B., BL, NYSC discharge or exemption certificate, and at least 15 years of post-NYSC experience. The Deputy Director Public Relations position requires five O’Level credits including English and Mathematics, a relevant honours degree, NYSC discharge or exemption, NIPR membership, and at least 18 years of cognate experience.

Interested applicants are required to submit 10 copies of their application, together with a detailed Curriculum Vitae, copies of all claimed certificates, referee reports and NYSC discharge or exemption certificate. The CV must provide personal information, educational and professional qualifications, work experience, publications, community service, current employment details, extracurricular activities and the addresses of three referees in the prescribed order. Applications should be enclosed under confidential cover, clearly marked with the position applied for, and addressed to the Registrar. The completed application must reach the university within six weeks of the date of the advertisement, while applications received after 3:00 p.m. on the final day will not be accepted.

FUOTUOKE Admission Screening Schedule 2026/2027 Announced

The Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) has announced the schedule for its 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise, which will officially commence on Monday, 21 September 2026. The screening will take place at the ICT Centre, West Campus, Federal University Otuoke, with candidates scheduled according to their faculties.

The schedule begins with Humanities and Law on Monday, 21 September, followed by Nursing Sciences on Tuesday, 22 September. Medical Laboratory Science and Social Sciences will be screened on Wednesday, 23 September, while Management Sciences will hold on Thursday, 24 September. Science, Computing and Environmental Sciences are scheduled for Friday, 25 September, while Education, Engineering and Basic Medical Sciences will hold on Saturday, 26 September. Screening each day is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
