Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), formerly known as Kogi State University (KSU), Anyigba, is a state-owned university located in Anyigba, Kogi State, Nigeria. The university was originally established in 1999 by the Kogi State Government as Kogi State University. In 2021, it was officially renamed Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) in honour of late Prince Abubakar Audu, former Governor of Kogi State and a key figure in the creation of the university.

PAAU JUPEB Admission Form 2026/2027

Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its A’ Level Programme under the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The one-year intensive programme is designed to prepare candidates for Direct Entry admission into 200 Level at PAAU and other JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria and abroad. KSP School Fees Payment and Course Registration Portals

Kogi State University, Kabba, has announced that its school fees payment platform is now accessible to students. The notice was issued by the university’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Unit on 17 October 2026.

The university stated that only students who have paid their school fees in full will be allowed to access the course registration portal. Returning students are also advised to confirm that their previous semester’s results are available on the portal before paying their fees.

To pay, students should visit the official university website, select either New Student or Returning Student, and log in with the appropriate email address and password. They should click Fees, select Generate Invoice, choose Pay Now and complete the payment. After payment, students must open Payment Status, enter their Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) and validate the transaction.

For course registration, students should log in through the same portal. Newly admitted students are to enter their JAMB registration numbers, while returning students should use their matriculation numbers. On the dashboard, select My Courses and click Add to register the required courses. Students must register a minimum of 15 credit units before the Submit and Download button becomes active. Those with outstanding courses from previous semesters should register them before adding current-semester courses. Students should review their selections carefully, submit the registration and download their registration slips for reference.

PAAU Reminds Staff and Students to Wear ID Cards on Campus

The management of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, Kogi State, has reminded all staff and students that wearing official identification (ID) cards on campus is compulsory. The reminder follows an earlier directive issued by the Vice-Chancellor, with the university urging everyone to comply with the requirement.

The management also reiterated that the ban on the use of unauthorised “rubber-rubber” motorcycles and vehicles on campus remains in force. Students caught using such motorcycles or vehicles risk arrest and the seizure of the vehicle involved.

According to the notice, the university’s Director of Security has warned staff and students to comply strictly with the directives to avoid sanctions. The measures are intended to reinforce campus security and ensure adherence to the university’s regulations.

PAAU Warns Prospective Students Against Fake Admission Agents and Unauthorised Fees

Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, has warned prospective students, parents and guardians against fraudulent admission and registration schemes involving unauthorised payment demands. The university’s Information Technology and Resource Centre (ITRC) clarified that claims in a circulating open letter about individuals collecting ₦50,000, ₦55,000 or other unauthorised amounts for registration and admission processing do not represent approved ITRC activities.

The Centre dissociated itself from fraudulent registration arrangements, misleading admission promises and unofficial payment requests made in the university’s name. It cautioned applicants against fake WhatsApp and Telegram groups, inflated registration charges, bogus screening and clearance fees, falsified payment receipts, impersonation of university officials and individuals claiming they can guarantee admission in exchange for money.

Prospective students have been advised to verify approved charges on the university’s official portal, use only recognised payment channels and seek clarification from the ITRC through verified contact channels whenever they are unsure about registration procedures. Applicants should also retain receipts and transaction references for legitimate payments, confirm admission information through official university announcements and report suspicious requests to the appropriate authorities.

The ITRC stressed that membership of an aspirants’ group, use of university-branded materials or claims of connections with university officials do not prove that an individual is authorised to collect money on the institution’s behalf. Students, parents and guardians are also encouraged to share verified information and report suspected scams with relevant evidence, including account details, telephone numbers, receipts and screenshots. PAAU 30th Inaugural Lecture Holds October 20, 2026
