The Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola (MAUTECH) was established in 1981 by the Federal Government of Nigeria as the Federal University of Technology, Yola.

The university was created to promote technological advancement and scientific development in Nigeria, with a strong emphasis on engineering, agriculture, and applied sciences. In 2011, the institution was renamed in honour of Modibbo Adama, a historical figure and founder of the Adamawa Emirate.

MAUTECH Admission List 2026/2027

Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola (MAUTECH) has released its 2026/2027 admission list for candidates who participated in the university’s admission screening exercise. Candidates can now check their admission status to confirm whether they have been offered provisional admission.

The list has been uploaded through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Candidates should visit JAMB eFacility Portal and log in with their registered email address and password. From the dashboard, select “Check Admission Status”, click “Access my CAPS”, and then select “Admission Status” to view the admission decision.

Candidates who have been offered admission can accept or reject the offer by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile. Candidates have four weeks to respond, while those who do not have access to their registered phone number should visit a JAMB-accredited centre. After accepting the offer, candidates should print their JAMB admission letter for use during clearance and registration.

Candidates using a mobile phone may need to access JAMB CAPS through Google Chrome and enable the “Request desktop site” option, as the complete admission status menu may not display on the mobile version. Candidates who have secured admission are advised to continue monitoring MAUTECH and JAMB channels for further registration instructions.
