The Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) has announced that the screening and registration exercise for newly admitted students will start on Monday, 8th September 2025. The exercise will take place at the Old ICT, Take-off Campus, running daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

This exercise is the next step for all who made it onto the admission list.

Key Steps Before Registration

For every admitted candidate, a few important steps must be completed before arriving at the campus:

Log into your JAMB profile and accept the admission offer.
Download and print your JAMB admission letter.
Ensure your O’Level results have been uploaded to your JAMB profile. Without this, you cannot print your admission letter or proceed with registration.
Candidates who fail to accept admission on JAMB will not appear on the JAMB matriculation list. Such students will be considered “not admitted” and will also be excluded from NYSC mobilisation after graduation.

FUDMA Screening/Registration Procedure

For both UTME and Direct Entry candidates, the process is set out clearly:

UNIUYO Announces Amnesty Programme for Outstanding Courses 2025

University of Uyo has rolled out an Amnesty Programme for students admitted since 1995 who could not graduate due to some outstanding courses. The offer applies to those with less than 24 credit hours left and excludes expelled students. Read on for eligibility, cost, and schedule details.

The Senate of the University of Uyo has given its nod to a new Amnesty Programme, a chance for long-standing students to finally complete their studies. At its 133rd meeting on Wednesday, 30th April 2025, the Senate resolved to open a window for those admitted from the 1995 session onwards but left stranded with unfinished courses.

This is not a free ride, but a structured path. Only those with failed courses not exceeding 24 credit hours can apply. Anything above that, and the offer does not stand.

Who Can Apply for the Amnesty

The conditions are clear, but let’s break them down:

Students admitted to UNIUYO from 1995 onwards who could not graduate.
Only for first-degree programmes.
Candidates must be eager to return and complete their studies.
Students previously expelled are not covered.
A maximum of 24 credit hours can be registered, spread across first and second semesters.
Payment is fixed at ₦25,000 per course.

How the Programme Will Run

Teaching is slated to be intensive, four weeks of lectures, followed by two weeks of exams. Grades from this programme will be merged with whatever the student had before leaving.

SAZU (BASUG) Physical Screening Schedule 2025/2026 Announced

Don’t joke with this part, because officials will check twice, maybe even more. Make sure you have:

A printout of your O’Level (SSCE) result
Your JAMB result slip from JAMB original result slip portal
The online screening form you filled earlier
One recent passport photograph (not that ancient one from your secondary school days, abeg)
A valid WAEC or NECO scratch card for verification

And here’s a key reminder: your O’Level results must be uploaded to the JAMB portal before you step foot on campus. If you haven’t done that, rush to a JAMB-accredited centre. Without it, screening no go complete.

NYSC Registration 2025 For Batch “B” Stream II Announced

The NYSC registration portal opens from September 8, 2025 for the Batch “B” Stream II mobilisation. Guidelines for both locally and foreign-trained graduates include uploading of clear passport photos and correct personal details, thumbprint in Nigeria and applying for any necessary corrections via the dashboard. Part-time graduates should register online for their Exclusion Letter, while thumbprint proxies and fake documents are strictly prohibited. Maintaining accessible contact info and indicating true health status are essential. Lastly, registration are to be carried out be Cyber Café Operators approved by NYSC.

This is to inform all prospective corps members, i.e. Nigerians who have graduated from Universities and Mono/Polytechnics both home and abroad, that the NYSC registration portal will be opened from September 8, 2025 to enable them to register for the 2025 Batch “B” Stream II mobilization.

Some Tips to guide Locally-Trained Graduates during NYSC Registration:

A National Identification Number (NIN) is required for online registration. If you are registering for the first time, click on “Fresh Registration.” If you were deployed in previous batches and did not report to camp, click on “Revalidation.”
If you have previously registered but did not complete your registration, click “Login Here” to continue.
A webcam will be used for facial capturing. Ensure you are well-dressed for your passport photograph, as blurred images are not permitted.
Do not thumbprint by proxy.
Your Date of Birth, Date of Graduation, and Course of Study will appear on your Certificate of National Service and Exemption Certificate. These details cannot be corrected after Camp Registration.
Apply for corrections to your Name, Date of Birth, Course of Study, Class of Degree, or Qualification through your dashboard.
PCMs (Prospective Corps Members) serving in the Armed Forces should indicate and upload valid documents during online registration.
Married female PCMs seeking marital concessions must upload their marital documents during online registration.
PCMs with disabilities should indicate this during online registration.
PCMs with health challenges should indicate and upload the necessary documents during online registration.
Ensure you personally monitor your online registration to avoid unnecessary errors.

Some Tips to guide Foreign-Trained Graduates during NYSC Registration:

Click https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/ForeignReq.aspx for requirements of foreign graduates Mobilization Process.
Do not create multiple accounts.
Upload Original copies of your documents and also input your name correctly as it is on your Certificate.
You can register anywhere you are but you must thumbprint in Nigeria before going to Orientation Camp.
Contact the Federal Ministry of Education Abuja, if your Institution of study has not been evaluated so as to obtain Evaluation Letter. Submit the Evaluation Letter at NYSC NDHQ Abuja.
Note that the SSCE result uploaded must be equal or greater than four (4) years.
Select a Center for Pre-camp physical verification during Online Registration.
All Foreign-trained graduates should physically present themselves after they must have successfully registered online, alongside with original copies of their degree certificates, transcript and travel documents.
If your credentials have been physically verified at the various centres during the Pre-Camp Verification Exercise, you are to print your Clearance Slip and present same for registration at the various camps of deployment with original copies of your documents.
Go to Camp with the translated version of your Certificate.
If you are exempted from Service, you are to collect your Exemption Certificate at NYSC NDHQ Abuja.
Those excluded from Service will print their Exclusion Letter on their dashboard Online.

NYSC Online Registration Procedure

Cyber Café Operators charge between Five Thousand (N5,000.00) and Six Thousand (N6,000.00) Naira for services provided to prospective corps members, both Nigerian and foreign-trained, depending on the location.

Use your JAMB username and password to log in.
Scroll till you see “Check Admission Status” and click it.
Tap on “Access my CAPS”.
Then click “Admission Status” to see if you made it.

That’s it. If your name is there, you have some more steps waiting.

Accepting or Rejecting Your Admission

Text ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number you used for JAMB.
If the status says “Admission Still in Progress” or “Not Admitted”, don’t panic, keep checking. The page updates anytime, and your turn might be next.

Once you accept, go on to print your JAMB admission letter. That’s your proof.
