The calendar was approved by the university’s Senate and Management, with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olalekan Asikhia, directing staff and students to follow the scheduled dates for academic activities.

The calendar covers the major activities planned for the first semester of the 2026/2027 session. Students and members of staff are expected to take note of the dates and make the necessary preparations ahead of each stage of the academic programme.

The university encouraged all students and staff to plan accordingly and comply with the approved schedule to support the smooth commencement and completion of academic activities during the session.

Caleb University Announces Summer Examination Guidelines for 2025/2026

Caleb University has released guidelines for the 2025/2026 Summer Examinations, outlining eligibility requirements, maximum credit loads, registration procedures and examination dates. The university advised all concerned students to review the instructions carefully and complete the necessary steps before the examinations.

The summer examination is strictly for graduating students who have completed the minimum academic residency requirement. Regular students must have completed at least eight semesters, while Direct Entry students must have completed six semesters. Students who were suspended or deferred and have not met the minimum residency requirement are not eligible to participate. The standard maximum course load is 24 credit units per semester, although students who pay for additional units may register for up to 27 credit units.

Eligible students are required to log in to the student portal and review their registered courses under the Summer Examination section. They must wait for their Head of Department to confirm the courses before the examination bill appears on the portal, after which payment should be made promptly. Biometric capture is scheduled to commence on Monday, October 19, 2026.

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) examinations will hold from Tuesday, October 20, to Friday, October 23, 2026. Students are advised to check the portal for the examination timetable when it is released and prepare adequately. The university also stressed that participation in the summer examinations does not guarantee a pass, as results will be based strictly on individual examination performance. Caleb University Resumption Dates for Returning Students 2026/2027

Caleb University, Imota, Lagos State, has announced revised resumption dates for returning students for the 2026/2027 academic session. The university management, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olalekan Asikhia, has approved a 10-day extension for students in 200 to 400 level.

The revised dates apply to upper-level students, while the previously announced resumption date for fresh students and foundation students remains unchanged.

Caleb University Notice to JUPEB Students and 2026/2027 Admitted Students

Caleb University has issued a notice to all students under its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) programme regarding the release of their examination results. The university stated that requests for the release of JUPEB results are currently being processed.

According to the notice, affected students will be informed once the processing of their JUPEB results has been completed. Students are therefore advised to await further communication from the university.

The university also announced that admission letters for the 2026/2027 academic session are now ready for collection at the Admissions/Academic Affairs Office. Students concerned are advised to collect their admission letters and complete the necessary registration procedures.

The resumption date is Saturday, September 26, 2026. Newly admitted students are encouraged to make the necessary preparations and ensure that all required admission and registration processes are completed promptly.
