Taraba State University TASU IJMB Admission Form 2025/2026 is on Sale

Taraba State University has opened IJMB admission for the 2025/2026 session. The programme gives students a direct entry route into 200 level after one year, even without JAMB. See how to apply and secure your place.

Taraba State University (TASU), Jalingo, has announced the sale of admission forms for its Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The School of Basic Studies at TSU is offering this chance to students who, for one reason or the other, did not reach 150 in UTME but still dream of entering university. With IJMB, that door is not shut, it simply opens another way.

Why TSU IJMB Admission Matters

The IJMB scheme is well recognised across Nigeria. According to the Registrar, Mr. Joseph U. Bibinu, the programme runs for 9 to 12 months and is accepted by all Nigerian universities.

Here’s why applicants might find it appealing:

  • Direct entry into 200 level after completion
  • Accepted by universities across the country
  • No need to retake JAMB
  • Short-term, usually within one academic year

Think of it as a second chance, or maybe a shortcut, depending on how you see it.

How to Apply for TSU IJMB Admission

Applicants are expected to follow these steps carefully:

  1. Visit the TSU website
  2. Click on “Portals”
  3. Select “IJMB Application”
  4. Create an account
  5. Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦5,300
  6. Fill and submit the online application form

The programme will take place at the TSU Mini Campus. Spots are limited, so the earlier one applies, the better.
