ABSU 2026 Teaching Staff Recruitment Across Academic Departments

Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU) has invited suitably qualified candidates to apply for teaching staff vacancies across several academic departments. The recruitment exercise covers academic ranks ranging from Graduate Assistant and Assistant Lecturer to Lecturer II, Lecturer I, Senior Lecturer, Reader and Professor, depending on the discipline. Vacancies are available in fields including Engineering, Computer Science and ICT, Public Health, Nursing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Education, Mass Communication, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Food Science and Technology, among others.

Applications must reach the Registrar no later than 22 September 2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview, while the university states that the salary is attractive and comparable with what is obtainable in other public universities in Nigeria.
