History of the Institution
Ave Maria University, Piyanko was established by the Ave Maria Foundation, which has long been a key player in Nigeria’s education sector. The Foundation operates the Ave Maria Group of Schools, which includes:

Admission Requirements
UTME (Undergraduate) Admission
- A minimum of five (5) O’Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE O’Level, or NABTEB.
- A valid JAMB UTME score meeting the minimum cut-off mark is required.
- All eligible candidates must apply and participate in the AMU screening exercise.

Ave Maria University provides a comprehensive and transparent fee structure for the 2025/2026 academic session. All fees listed below are sessional fees. Students may pay between 50% and 100% in the first semester, with every outstanding fee cleared before gaining entry for the second semester. An additional late resumption/registration fine of ₦30,000 applies to returning students who fail to resume and register within two weeks of the resumption date.
