Adekunle Ajasin University (AAUA) commonly known as AAUA is a state-owned university located in Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria. Established in 1999 in its present form, AAUA is one of the leading state universities in South-West Nigeria, known for academic excellence, research, discipline, and quality graduates. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across arts, education, law, sciences, agriculture, social sciences, and management fields.
History of the Institution
The history of AAUA dates back to 1982 when it was first established as Obafemi Awolowo University by the old Ondo State Government led by Chief Michael Adekunle Ajasin. In 1985, the institution was renamed Ondo State University by a succeeding military administration.
In 1999, after the creation of Ekiti State and relocation of the old Ondo State University campus, the institution was re-established in Akungba-Akoko as Adekunle Ajasin University, in honour of the late Chief Adekunle Ajasin. Since then, AAUA has grown into a respected university with thousands of students and expanding academic infrastructure.

- Acceptable exams: WAEC, NECO, NABTEB
