UNIOFFA Announces Programme of Events for Maiden Convocation Ceremony

The University of Offa (UNIOFFA), Nigeria, has announced the programme of events for its maiden convocation ceremony, scheduled to hold from Wednesday, 7 October to Monday, 12 October 2026.

The six-day ceremony will feature a series of academic, social and institutional activities, including a press briefing, counselling and job training, exhibition, sports competition, special prayer session, development plan launch, convocation dinner, chancellor’s investiture, convocation lecture and the main convocation ceremony.

The programme will commence on Wednesday, 7 October 2026, with a press briefing at the Senate Chamber, followed by other activities on subsequent days. The main convocation ceremony is scheduled for Monday, 12 October 2026, at the University premises.

The maiden convocation ceremony is expected to bring together graduating students, university officials, guests and other stakeholders to celebrate the achievements of the institution and mark a significant milestone in the growth and development of the University of Offa.
