The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced the opening of its registration portal for the 2026 Batch “A” Stream II mobilisation.
EducationNGR gathered that the portal opened on 12th March, 2026, and will remain open until 18th March, 2026, for prospective corps members to complete their online registration.
The registration is for Nigerians who graduated from universities, polytechnics, and monotechnics both within Nigeria and abroad.
Important Tips For Locally Trained Graduates
Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) trained in Nigerian institutions are advised to take note of the following during registration:
-
A National Identification Number (NIN) is required for online registration.
-
Candidates registering for the first time should select “Fresh Registration.”
-
Those previously deployed but who did not report to camp should select “Revalidation.”
-
Candidates who started registration earlier but did not complete it should log in to continue the process.
-
Facial capture will be done using a webcam, so ensure clear passport photographs.
-
Do not thumbprint by proxy.
-
Details such as Date of Birth, Date of Graduation, and Course of Study will appear on the Certificate of National Service or Exemption Certificate and cannot be corrected after camp registration.
-
Requests for correction of Name, Date of Birth, Course of Study, Class of Degree, or Qualification should be made through the registration dashboard.
-
PCMs serving in the Armed Forces must upload valid supporting documents.
-
Married female PCMs seeking marital concession should upload their marital documents.
-
PCMs with disabilities or health challenges should indicate and upload the necessary documents.
-
Candidates are advised to personally monitor their registration to avoid errors.
Guidelines For Foreign-Trained Graduates
Foreign-trained graduates must follow additional procedures during registration:
-
Visit the official requirements page: https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/ForeignReq.aspx
-
Do not create multiple accounts.
-
Upload original copies of all required documents and ensure names match those on certificates.
-
Registration can be done anywhere, but thumbprinting must be completed in Nigeria before reporting to orientation camp.
-
Graduates whose institutions have not been evaluated should contact the Federal Ministry of Education Nigeria for an evaluation letter.
-
The SSCE result uploaded must be at least four years old.
-
Candidates must select a centre for pre-camp physical verification during registration.
-
All foreign-trained graduates must present themselves physically with original copies of their degree certificates, transcripts, and travel documents.
-
Candidates whose credentials are verified during the pre-camp exercise should print their Clearance Slip and present it at the orientation camp.
