UNILAG DLI Releases 3rd Batch Admission List For 2025/2026 Session

The Distance Learning Institute (DLI), University of Lagos (UNILAG), has released the 3rd batch admission list for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Successful applicants are advised to confirm their admission status on the UNILAG DLI admission list portal and proceed for screening at the Administrative Unit (2nd Floor, DLI Building), as screening is compulsory.

EducationNGR learnt that candidates who fail to complete the required process within the stipulated timeframe risk losing their admission.

• Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, Distance Learning Institute Building, University of Lagos

• Block A, Classroom (Ground Floor), Distance Learning Institute Building, University of Lagos

Screening Time

• 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday)

Documents Required For Screening

Candidates must present the following original documents:

• Application form

• Testimonial (Primary or Secondary)

• O’Level certificate(s)

• Higher degree certificates for Direct Entry candidates (HND, OND, NCE, ICAN and other professional certificates)

• NYSC certificate/Exclusion/Exemption certificate (Direct Entry only)

• Birth certificate or sworn affidavit (issued before the admissions advertisement)

• Marriage certificate, affidavit for change of name, and newspaper publication (Married female applicants only)

Documents Required For Registration (After Payment Of Fees)

After paying the required fees, admitted students must provide:

• Application form

• Admission letter (coloured and laminated)

• Testimonial (photocopy)

• Student information form

• O’Level certificate(s) (photocopy)

• Higher degree certificates (Direct Entry candidates)

• NYSC certificate/Exclusion/Exemption certificate (Direct Entry only)

• Online-generated letter of acceptance

• Online-generated biodata form

• Online course registration form approved by course adviser

• Handwritten letter of preparedness to pay all service charges (signed)

• Reference letter from employer or sponsor (original)

• Reference letter from a lawyer, clergy, imam, or senior civil servant

• Online-generated student payment receipt

• Marriage certificate and related documents (Married female applicants only)

• Birth certificate or sworn affidavit

• Four passport photographs (white background; name and matriculation number written on the reverse)

• JAMB slip

One-Month Deadline And Fraud Warning

The Institute warned that failure to appear for screening within one month may result in forfeiture of admission. Candidates are therefore encouraged to complete the process promptly.

Newly admitted students are also advised to remain vigilant and avoid fraudsters, as the University does not engage third parties or agents for admission processing. For clarification, candidates should visit the office of the Institute Secretary.
