See JAMB List Of Approved CBT Centres For 2026 UTME Registration

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the list of approved and accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE).

JAMB stated clearly that UTME and DE registration for 2026 can only be carried out at accredited CBT centres nationwide. Candidates are advised not to register at unapproved cybercafés or business centres, as such registrations may be invalid.

EducationNGR also learnt that the accreditation applies strictly to centres that met JAMB’s technical and operational standards for the 2026 exercise.

What Candidates Should Know

JAMB emphasised that:

• Registration is restricted to officially approved CBT centres

• Candidates must confirm a centre’s accreditation status before registration

• Any registration done outside the approved centres is at the candidate’s risk

This directive applies to both UTME and Direct Entry applicants.

Candidates are advised to:

• Check the officially released PDF containing the list of approved CBT centres

• Identify the closest accredited centre in their state or locality

• Use the selected centre for registration and other JAMB-related services

The list covers CBT centres across all states in Nigeria.

Important Notice To Candidates

JAMB warned candidates against patronising unaccredited centres, regardless of convenience or cost. Only centres recognised by the Board are authorised to handle biometric capture, registration, and examination-related processes for the 2026 UTME and DE.
