Sa’adu Zungur University (SAZU) has released official information regarding the matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session. The notice was issued by the Matriculation Committee on behalf of the university.
The ceremony is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 28th January, 2026, and will take place simultaneously at two campuses: Gadau Campus and Yuli Campus.

Fresh students are advised to follow the campus assignment provided to them, as each campus will run the ceremony independently, though at the same time.
Matriculation Fee And Payment Method
All matriculating students are required to pay a non-refundable matriculation fee of N1,000 via Remita.
Students must present their payment receipt at the designated point to collect their academic gown. Collection will not be allowed without proof of payment.
Academic Gown Collection And Return
The university tied the collection of academic gowns to the proof of payment. Students must return the gown after the ceremony, no later than Friday, 30th January, 2026.
Late Return Penalty
SAZU has imposed a penalty of N5,000 for late return of the academic gown. Students who fail to return their gowns by the stated deadline will be required to pay this fee.

The Matriculation Committee urged all newly admitted students to adhere strictly to the guidelines to ensure a smooth matriculation ceremony.
