The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has officially scheduled the Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, alongside the 13th Commencement Lecture, to hold at the Professor Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building on Wednesday, 19 November 2025.
Academic Gowns and Caps
- All matriculants are required to wear academic gowns.
- Gowns and caps can be collected from the Colleges starting Monday, 17 November 2025.
- Return deadline: Monday, 24 November 2025, by 12 noon.
- Fines:
- Late return: N20,000
- Lost gown or cap: N30,000
Requirements for Collection
Matriculants must present and submit a photocopy of evidence of payment of school fees for the 2025/2026 session at the College Office before collecting their gowns or caps.
Ceremony Details
- Start Time: 10:00 a.m.
- Seating: Matriculants should be seated by 9:30 a.m. as all entrances will be blocked once the Vice-Chancellor’s Procession begins.
Matriculation Oath
Matriculation is incomplete without signing the Matriculation Oath online. Failure to do so means the individual is not yet officially a student of FUNAAB.
