FUNAAB 2026/2027 Postgraduate Admission Form

The Postgraduate School of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Ogun State, has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Master’s and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. FUNAAB 60/40 School Fees Payment Plan for Students

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has announced an approved plan allowing students to pay their school fees in two instalments. Following engagements between the union and the university management, students can pay 60 per cent of their fees initially and the remaining 40 per cent later. The arrangement is expected to be integrated into the school fees portal, with students to be notified when it becomes available.

Under the approved arrangement, students can spread their financial obligations across two payments rather than settle the full amount at once. However, the SUG has warned that students who fail to pay the outstanding 40 per cent will not be allowed to sit for their second-semester examinations. Students are therefore advised to plan their finances and ensure that the balance is paid before the examinations.

The union also cautioned students who applied for funding through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) against relying on early disbursement to pay their fees. According to the update, NELFUND disbursement is not expected until 2027. Students who have yet to pay their fees are encouraged to explore alternative financial arrangements rather than depend solely on the anticipated loan payments.

The FUNAAB SUG reaffirmed its commitment to keeping students informed about developments affecting their academic activities and welfare. FUNAAB Warns Students Against Indecent Dressing on Campus

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has warned students against indecent dressing on campus, stating that violations of the university’s dress code will no longer be tolerated. The warning was contained in a circular dated 14 October 2026 and signed by the Dean of Student Affairs, Professor P. T. Adeosun.

The university management said the growing trend of inappropriate dressing among some students violates the dress code outlined in the Students’ Code of Conduct and the Matriculation Oath. Students have therefore been urged to dress in ways that reflect the institution’s values, character and academic culture.

According to the circular, prohibited dressing includes skimpy, transparent or provocative outfits; sagging trousers; unusual haircuts; shorts, miniskirts above the knee and ripped jeans worn to lecture halls; sleeveless or crop tops, off-shoulder and body-hugging clothes; slippers; unconventional hairstyles or colours; excessive jewellery; and indecent make-up.

FUNAAB warned that students who violate the directive will face appropriate disciplinary action under the university’s regulations. The Student Affairs Division and Security Unit have also been mandated to apprehend offenders and enforce compliance. The management called on all students to cooperate in maintaining discipline and protecting the institution’s reputation.

FUNAAB Medical Registration Schedule for Fresh Students, 2026/2027

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has released the schedule for the 2026/2027 medical tests, examination and registration exercise for newly admitted students.
