AE-FUNAI 2026/2027 Post-UTME And DE Form Released

Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State, has announced the commencement of registration for its 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise.

According to the University, online registration will begin on Monday, 25 May 2026 and close on Tuesday, 30 June 2026.

Eligible candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME and selected AE-FUNAI as their first-choice institution are invited to apply.

Candidates who did not initially choose the University but wish to study at AE-FUNAI are also eligible, provided they complete a change of institution through JAMB before the deadline.

Eligibility Requirements For AE-FUNAI Screening

Candidates applying for admission into AE-FUNAI must satisfy the following conditions.

UTME Requirement

Applicants must:

  • Score a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME
  • Select AE-FUNAI as first-choice institution

Candidates seeking admission through Direct Entry are also eligible to apply after completing a change of institution to AE-FUNAI where necessary.

O’Level Requirement

Candidates must possess the required O’Level credits relevant to their chosen course.

The University also stated that candidates applying for the following programmes must obtain their O’Level results in one sitting only:

Important Notice On Result Upload

All applicants are required to upload their O’Level and Direct Entry results on the JAMB CAPS portal on or before 30 June 2026.

The University warned that any application without uploaded results on CAPS will not be processed.

Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ikwo (AE-FUNAI), commonly known as FUNAI, is a federal university established by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2011. AE-FUNAI Postpones 14th Matriculation Ceremony Indefinitely

The management of Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike (AE-FUNAI), Ebonyi State, has announced the indefinite postponement of its 14th Matriculation Ceremony earlier scheduled for newly admitted students.

The decision was communicated through an official circular issued by the Office of the Registrar and applies to all arrangements previously announced for the event.

What The Official Circular Says

According to the circular, the matriculation ceremony earlier fixed for 5 February 2026 will no longer hold as planned. The university management stated that the programme has been put on hold, with a new date to be announced later.

EducationNGR also learnt that the postponement directive was issued on the authority of the Vice-Chancellor.

Earlier Date No Longer Valid

The matriculation ceremony had initially been scheduled to take place on 5 February 2026. However, the university has now confirmed that the event will not take place on that date.
