The Faculty of Education at University of Uyo has announced the schedule for the 2025 Batch B Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Induction Ceremony.
EducationNGR gathered that the induction is organised for qualified staff and graduating students of the Faculty of Education who are set to be formally inducted into the teaching profession.
Date, Time And Venue Of The Induction
According to the notice released by the Faculty Office, the ceremony has been scheduled as follows:

Date: Tuesday, 17th March, 2026

Time: 11:00 AM

Venue: Onyema Ugochukwu Auditorium, Town Campus, Ikpa Road
All inductees are expected to complete the required procedures before the day of the induction ceremony.
Submission Of Required Documents
Inductees are required to report to the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Education, to submit the following documents:

Original Degree Certificate or SSCE Certificate

Valid Identification Card
The documents must be placed in an envelope clearly labelled with the student’s personal details and the contents of the envelope. Inductees are also required to sign the necessary documentation before collecting their academic gown and cap from the Faculty Officer.

Collection will take place on the following dates:

Participation In The Procession
All inductees must report on Tuesday, 17th March, 2026, to participate in the official procession from the Faculty of Education to the venue of the induction ceremony.
Return Of Academic Gown And Cap
Inductees are required to return the academic gown and cap to the Faculty Office immediately after the ceremony and not later than Thursday, 19th March, 2026.
Failure to return the items within the stipulated period will attract a penalty of ₦2,000 per day for each extra day the items are kept.
The Faculty management congratulated all inductees and urged them to comply strictly with the provided instructions.
