YABATECH Announces 2025/2026 Part-Time First Semester Examination Dates

Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), via the Centre for Continuous Studies (CCS), has announced that the 2025/2026 Part-Time First Semester Examination will hold from 10th to 17th November 2025. The Academic Board approved this schedule during its virtual meeting on Wednesday, 5th November 2025.

All Part-Time students in ND2, ND3, HND2, and HND3 must comply with all examination requirements and financial obligations before the start of the exams.

Guidelines for YABATECH Part-Time Examination

Entry into examination halls will strictly follow the college’s regulations. Students must present the following documents to be allowed to sit for any paper:

  • Examination docket

  • Receipt of school fee payment

  • Course form

  • Valid Student ID Card

Candidates are required to have paid at least fifty percent (50%) of their approved school fees for the current academic session. Failure to meet this requirement may result in denial of access to the examination halls.

The management of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), through its Centre for Continuous Studies (CCS), has officially released the schedule for the 2025/2026 Part-Time First Semester Examination.

According to an internal memo dated 5 November 2025, and signed by the Deputy Registrar, CCS, Bolaji O. C., the Academic Board approved that the examinations will take place between 10 and 17 November 2025. EducationNGR also learnt that the College management is taking measures to ensure full compliance with examination regulations.

All part-time students in ND2, ND3, HND2, and HND3 levels are required to pay at least 50% of their school fees for the session before the commencement of the exams.

Apply: YABATECH Post UTME Admission Form 2025/2026 Released

Yaba College of Technology has opened Post UTME applications for the 2025/2026 session. Eligible candidates must meet the stated requirements and apply through the school portal. The form will be available online for six weeks from September 8, 2025.

The Official Call

Yaba College of Technology, popularly known as YABATECH, has thrown open the gates for Post UTME applications. The call is for those who sat for the 2025 UTME and are eyeing admission into the Full-Time National Diploma or the B.Sc. (Ed.) programmes in technical education. The degree arm runs in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and candidates aiming for 100 or 200 level slots are covered.

YABATECH Post UTME Eligibility

To stand a chance, candidates must meet the following conditions:

  • First Choice: YABATECH must be selected as the first-choice school.
  • UTME Score: A minimum of 160 in the UTME applies to both ND and B.Sc. degree (100 level) courses.
  • Direct Entry: B.Sc. degree (200 level) candidates applying through direct entry should also register via the college portal.
  • Age Requirement: All candidates must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025. Anyone younger is strongly advised not to apply.
  • Choice Adjustment: Those who placed YABATECH as second or third choice must change it to first choice on the JAMB portal before applying.

How to Apply for YABATECH Post UTME

The steps are straightforward, though care is needed:

  1. Visit the YABATECH official website.
  2. Click on the link titled “POST UTME SCREENING 2025/2026.”
  3. Follow the instructions on the portal to complete your registration.
  4. Pay the processing fee of ₦2,000. This excludes the cost of result verification and any bank or online charges.
  5. Payments can be done online or at the bank, but note that the college does not accept cash directly.
