UMYU Supplementary Post UTME/DE Form 2025/2026 Out

The UMYU Supplemnary Post UTME registration (2ND ROUND) for the 2025/2026 academic session is now open.

The management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina, has received approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC) to establish fifteen new undergraduate programmes. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for the upcoming Post UTME Aptitude Test.

 

 

The University is also welcoming candidates who missed the first screening test or wish to apply for existing programmes.

Newly Approved Programmes

The following 15 new degree programmes have been approved for the 2025/2026 session:

  • Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT)
  • B.NSc. Nursing Science
  • B.Medical Laboratory Science
  • B.Sc. Cyber Security
  • B.Sc. Plant Science and Biotechnology
  • B.Sc. Animal and Environmental Biology
  • B.Sc. Medical Physics
  • B.Sc. Physics with Electronics
  • B.Sc. Applied Geophysics
  • B.Sc. Information System
  • B.Sc. Software Engineering
  • B.Ed. Educational Management
  • B.Ed. Guidance and Counselling
  • B.A. Arabic Literary Study and Translation
  • B.Sc. Food Science and Technology

Candidates interested in these programmes should register for the UMYU Post UTME screening through the official portal.

Exempted Programmes

The following programmes are not included in the current Post UTME exercise:
Agriculture, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Education & Computer Science, Environmental Management, International Relations, Law, Library and Information Science, Medicine & Surgery, and Microbiology.

Eligibility for UMYU Post UTME

To be eligible for the test, applicants must:

  • Choose Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, as their first choice during the 2025 UTME.
  • Score at least the minimum cut-off mark for their selected programme.
  • Possess the correct UTME subject combinations as required for the course.

Candidates can view details of the approved cut-off marks on the UMYU Cut-Off Mark Page and check admission requirements for each programme on the UMYU Admission Requirements Notice.

Applicants who meet these conditions can register at the UMYU Post UTME Portal.

Required Documents for Registration

During registration, candidates must upload clear copies of the following documents:

  1. JAMB Result Slip for 2025 (UTME candidates).
  2. O’Level Result(s).
  3. Valid means of identification, such as Indigene Letter, National ID Card, or International Passport.

Applicants awaiting results can also apply.

Registration and Test Schedule

  • Registration Period: Saturday, 11 October 2025 – Friday, 17 October 2025
  • Aptitude Test Date: Saturday, 18 October 2025

Candidates identified by JAMB as having special needs are exempted from writing the test. Such applicants should send hard copies of their credentials directly to the Office of the Registrar.

Payment Method

All eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of N2,000.00 (inclusive of all charges) for the aptitude test.
Payment should be made only through the University’s official website: collegeportal.umyu.edu.ng/ug/applicant/index/

UTME candidates are to bring their payment slips to the test venue for verification.

UMYU Part-Time Admission List 2025/2026 Released

The UMYU Part-Time Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session has been released. The School of Continuing Education (SCE) at Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) has published the names of candidates offered provisional admission into various part-time degree programmes for the new session.

Both UTME and Direct Entry applicants who applied for part-time studies can now check their admission status online through the University’s portal.

  2. Log in using your application details.
  3. View and print your admission letter.

After confirming your name on the UMYU Part-Time Admission List, newly admitted students should:

UMYU 1st Batch Merit Admission List 2025/2026 Out

The UMYU Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session has been released. Candidates who applied for admission into Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU) degree programmes through the UTME can now check their admission status online.

The first (Merit) batch includes the names of candidates who successfully met the University’s admission requirements and have been offered provisional admission into various undergraduate courses

 

 

How to Check UMYU Admission List

To find out if you have been offered admission, follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Check the Merit List

Visit the official UMYU website to view the Merit Admission List.
Screening and verification will take place from Monday, 21 October 2024, to Monday, 4 November 2024.

If your name appears on the list, proceed with the next steps to secure your place.

Step 2: Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS

  1. Visit the JAMB CAPS Portal.
  2. Log in to your profile using your JAMB credentials.
  3. Accept or reject your admission offer.

Step 3: Confirm Admission on UMYU Portal

  1. Go to the UMYU Applicant Portal.
  2. Log in with your details.
  3. Confirm your admission and pay the acceptance fee.
