The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), College of Nursing Sciences, Benin City, has announced the commencement of admissions into its eighteen-month Post Registered Nursing Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. The programme, offered by the Department of Nursing Science, leads to the award of the Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate.

How to Apply for UBTH Post Registered Nursing Admission

Application forms are available online through the official UBTH College of Nursing Sciences portal.

  • Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₦15,000.00 via the Remita platform to UBTH TSA as directed on the portal.
  • A separate payment of ₦500 must also be made to the Nursing and Midwifery Council Committee, Edo State, using the following details:

Closing date for submission: Friday, 30 January 2026.

Entry Requirements for UBTH Post Registered Nursing Programme

To be eligible for admission, candidates must:

  1. Be 18 years or older.
  2. Have five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, GCE, or NECO.
  3. Upload a Registered Midwifery (RM) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) certificate.
  4. Possess at least one year of post-registration experience.
  5. Upload a reference letter from their current or most recent employer.
  6. Upload a current, valid practising licence.

Applicants must ensure all scanned documents are clear and legible before submission.
