Admission Requirements

The bar has been set fairly high.

  • For master’s and doctoral degrees, applicants need at least a Second Class Upper in their first degree.
  • Postgraduate candidates in Petroleum Engineering may apply with a Second Class Lower, but only if their background is in Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Geophysics, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • All applicants, except for Public Policy, Public Administration, and PhD candidates, must sit for an online entrance exam.

  • O’Level: five credits, English and Mathematics included, in not more than two sittings
