The lecture will be delivered by Prof. Elechi Franca Asawalam, a Professor of Agricultural Entomology in the Department of Plant Health Management, College of Crop and Soil Sciences.

Prof. Asawalam holds a B.Sc in Agriculture from the University of Ibadan, an M.Sc from the same institution, and a Ph.D from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike. She is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Society for Plant Protection.

  2. Click on the Admission tab and choose Admission Process.
  3. Enter your JAMB registration number to print your admission letter.
  4. Accept your admission and print both your Admission Letter and Pledge Form.

Step 4: Paying the Developmental Levy

All newly admitted students must pay a developmental levy of ₦80,000.

  • Click the Proceed button on your portal dashboard to generate a Remita payment.
  • Payment can be made online (ATM or Remita Checkout) or at any bank.
  • Once payment is made, confirm it using the Query Remita Payment link.

Step 5: Completing Online Registration

After your developmental levy payment has been confirmed:

  1. Return to the Online Registration Page.
  2. Upload your clearance form again to validate your payment.
  3. Once cleared, generate a Remita for accommodation and school fees (repeat validation after each payment).
  4. Obtain your SUG card from the Students’ Union Secretariat.
  5. Complete your online biodata and course registration on the portal.
  6. Create and submit your student file at your department.
