MAPOLY Notice on First Semester Registration 2025/2026

The Management of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has directed all categories of students (fresh and returning) to complete first semester registration for the 2025/2026 academic session on or before Friday, 23rd January 2026.

Management emphasised strict compliance, warning that failure to meet the deadline will attract adverse consequences. The directive applies to all students, so no one should assume it is “for others.”

Late Registration Penalties

MAPOLY warned that late registration will attract penalties ranging from N5,000 to N10,000. Students are advised to avoid delays to save money for transport, books, or data.

Matriculation, Oath-Taking, and First Semester Exams

Management also announced:

  • The Matriculation and Oath-Taking Ceremony will commence as earlier approved by the Academic Board.

  • The First Semester Examinations will also commence as earlier approved by the Academic Board.

Early registration ensures students do not start the semester chasing paperwork.

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, has announced that the First Semester of the 2025/2026 academic session will officially begin on Monday, 27th October 2025. This academic calendar was approved by the institution’s Academic Board on Tuesday, 28th October 2025.

All newly admitted ND1 and HND1 students, both full-time and part-time, are expected to begin their online clearance and registration immediately, including the payment of acceptance and school fees.

Key Dates at MAPOLY

  • Session Begins: Monday, 27th October 2025

  • Lectures Start: Monday, 10th November 2025

  • Registration Deadline for Newly Admitted Students: Saturday, 6th December 2025

  • SIWES Students: Seven weeks of online lectures, followed by seven weeks of in-person classes

  • Matriculation and Oath-Taking: Wednesday, 4th March 2026

  • First Semester Examinations: Monday, 9th March 2026

Late registration will attract a fine ranging from ₦5,000 to ₦10,000. Students are therefore advised to complete all registration steps before the stated deadline to avoid penalties.
